When can I ski again

Hey NS,

So I broke my clavicle 4 days ago in one place and I was wondering if anyone has ever been in the same boat as me and knows when I can ski again.

I am hoping that I will be able to ski on my summer set up sometime this summer.

Thanks :)

I broke my clavacal and a couple bones in my shoulder early in the season and after about 7 weeks I was back on Skis. I couldn't throw anything and decided to do some filming for others for a little bit. It's deffentally not something to rush though. Even now if I knuckle a jump or land flat I feel it a little bit in my shoulder. Recently I took a small spill that tweaked my arm a little and it hurt for about 3 days. When you are cleared to start PT it is super important to do what the therapist says. I didn't do the exercises for the first part of PT and once I started doing it I realized it helped so much and if I started right away I could have been back to skiing much faster.

I snapped my collarbone pretty bad, but went skiing 3 weeks later and was completely fine. Could still hit rails and stuff, just didn't start throwing tricks for a couple more weeks after that. If you do ski at all in the next 6 months be careful how you fall, because if you land on it the right way it will just rebreak. I landed on mine on snow a couple times, and it still healed up perfect, but make sure you watch out for that. Don't get worried just go have fun skiing mellow

I broke mine last weekend of the season, and I was feeling good enough to rock climb 4, weeks later. Don't rush it though if it hurts stop what you're doing.
