Whats your worst fall

Last night... did a hardway 2 in to a downrail. Caught my ski on the rotation landed right on the rail with my ribs then flipped over the rail to lay down on the otherside.

No breaks, but a nice bruise right across my chest.

I nailed my arm skiing through this trail thing on a thick branch sticking out. I don't know how I didn't break my arm but it fucking killed for the next 2 weeks or so.

Worst one on skis was overshooting a 60footer and landing to flat on my head. Didn't hurt one bit because I was knocked out cold, but people said there was so much blood. Worst one ever was mountain biking last winter, coming up do a drop with too much speed and slamming the brakes. Bike got squirrelly in the snow and I dropped about a foot right of where I should have. Ended up hitting a huge boulder in the landing and completely wrecked my self. Didn't get too hurt though (only a sprained wrist), but hiking out was a bitch.

my worst was just recently. impact from my knee hitting a rail which shattered my patella and fractured my femur.

I was hitting a jump in the when a little kid cut across the landing so instead of landing on him a tried to stop/ turn but l didnt have enough time so l ended up just missing the kid but landing on my shoulder. The kid just skied off didnt even notice.

Ran into a snowboarder at full speed on a 40 foot step up two years ago. I broke my collar bone tore my meniscus and got some nerve damage in my knee/shin.

hit a booter, landed a little front seat / sideways and dug my downhill edge in and flopped my head off the ground. it was violent enough to crack my helmet open. needless to say, i was scrambled eggs for a while, and had post concussive symptoms for months. shit's scary..

another bad one was when i was boarding years ago. 270 on to frontside board to hard bail, which broke my shoulder. i still get pain in it when i move my arm into a certain position (if it's forced into external rotation, like when someone twists your arms and yanks them behind your back). no fun. feels like i've got a nail being hammered right into the shoulder joint

this thread is the biggest antistoke evermy worst is when i was night skiing and smashed into a snowbank head first. idk how it happened, all i remember is thinking, "oh shit, i can't see" and then being stuck in the snow

i dont even know. worst thing i've ever done was break my heel into 3 pieces but i didnt even fall. i guess my worst fall was probably an attempted front 4 out of an up box with waay too much speed, landed sideways, not sure if i under or over rotated, my edges dug and i just slammed straight onto my head. thought i was alright, got right back up, started skiing down the run, got all dizzy, fell over and started puking. sweet concussion.

this season it snowed about 1 1/2 and it was blue bird and noone was up the and on the chair up my fingers got cold, so i took a green groomer down to the lodge and while i was in the lodge the entire epic day reading my book buyng the over priced lodge food i was fliping the page in my book and i got a PAPER CUT and a band aide was applied.

Caught an inside edge going mach 5 switch after a huge 180 off a 5-10foot cliff on the side of a run last year. I smacked my head really hard and it heart for a couple days, even though i was wearing a helmet. Oh and i had whiplash for two weeks. Not my worst, but it heart like hell.

Two years ago I got spinal compression fractures in four places after doing a seven and landing a little too deep off axis kinda. that one sucked, but it was last run of the year, so i told them not to cart me down the hill (someone called ski patrol) and i skiied down and hit a box to land my last trick of the year but that one sucked. ahah

A few years ago at Stowe ( I was 10, I think) Rode up a steep bank covered in pow and popped an ally oop 5. anded switch but on the way back down the run in I hit a shrub and did a complete backie, landed on my shoulder and really fucked it up. I Still can't charge on a bike, the whole motion just kills it.

First day of the season this year at Killington, and I break my collar bone trying to do a little front flip off a kicker

I was tree skiing and got close lined by a branch, flew, my feet went on opposite sides of a tree trunk, and I nailed my boys on the trunk.

Tried something off a small jump (maybe a 5? I dont remember anything about that day so...), and my theory is that I caught my edge on the last 90 degrees of rotation and smashed my head down. I was unconscienous for about 2 minutes apparently.

avalanche took me off a small cliff( 35ft) or soo and buried me a good three feet under. thank god i was skiing with a former ski patroler. they found me in like 15 minutes but i was already out cold. suffered 2 broken ribs, a seperated shoulder, broken wrist, and compress fracture of 4 vertebrae
still in PT

Delayed Spread Eagle Daffy, needless to say I didn't bring my skis back in time. Knuckled and then like quadruple tomahawk. Unfortunate shit.

i over shot and over rotated a jump and landed sideways. then i think my skis got tangled or something and twisted causing a spiral femur fracture. i got up and ski'd a little bit further down to get out of the way and asked some randoms to get ski patrol for me cause i thought i pulled a muscle haha

Ok, it's spring time and there was a double box with a gap in between (like 5ft), so I come on to the thing and there's a load of water or something on the box and I slow down like a motherfucker, I barely slide and don't make the gap. Crashed into the other box and my hip hurt like a motherfucker. Couldn't walk for a week. That sucked.

I also broke my wrist, but that was while snowboarding and not my fault, someone skied into me.

Basically this, but I fell off a box entirely onto my right arm and dislocated my shoulder. And now ive dislocated it two more times so its so weak now. Doctor so far doesnt think surgery is the option. This was all within the last 11 months too

mine was today, I jumped like a meter out of an slope edge and landed just in front of a small three witch one of my skis cught up with and i flew four meters to my face and lost my breath under a meter of snow.

last season i threw a smooth 3 and landed so smooth i planted my pole in my neck. I didn't fall from that but the pole broke and my left eye was blind for like 5 minutes, scary shit.

Somehow i haven't broken anything in 15 years of skiing but ive taken some nasty falls. I was doing some bumps and my ski decided it wanted to come off. I dont know what happened but i ended up flipping down the mountain and bent my pole completely around my ribs so it made a perfect 'U'.

Scariest:

At Copper's after season film park a few years ago and missed a 70' transfer cap. I remember taking off and having that sinking feeling that I wasn't going to clear it. I suffered a concussion and stress fracture in my shin. But now I know what a bug on a windshield feels like.

Biggest Injury:

- Spiral femur break on a down flat urban (see my pictures)

- Severed TVPs on L2, L3, L4 from scorpioning a rail
