Everyone has a trick they do off a jump they never done before... a safe trick of kinds. So what is your trick you do off a jump you never hit before? Mines a 180 w/out a grab.

360 or 540 nose depending on the size of the kicker and the consequence of landing on the coping or to overshoot it

Mine would be a Lui Kang, I think...

Actually I've never been quite sure if that's what it is. (I think of it as a kung-fu grab)

basically kick out my left leg way to the side, tuck my right leg up and grab the bottom of the right ski under my boot, sorta all leaned to the right... does that make any sense?

I usually spin, but if its huge I'd go straight air. My brother threw a backflip off a booter he hadn't hit yet and had wayyy too much speed for it, overrotated and overshot the landing, and landed on his shoulder. I wish I had the xrays of the 7 inch rod and 2 pins that hold it together now to post up.

^ a critical is when you grab the inside of your opposite ski above the binding. My trick is always a safety grab.

if it is under 20 ft i will do a 1 or a 3 but usually i just straight air the bigger tables the first few times to get the speed down.
