What's your morning commute like?

10-15 min to work/ski hill

if i need to get anything other than the bare essentials its about an hour drive to town

However long it takes to get from my bed to where my laptop is. When I'm hungover it takes longer.

Ski hill. Well...I mean I was living in Mammoth and I walked to the Gondola because it was the same distance to the bus stop. I walked by 5 houses and a hotel. A little under 5 minutes in ski boots. When I'm in Mammoth I still stay there and my landlord wants me to move back, so I'll count it. But now I am homeless. I'm going to Japan for 45 days though and I'll be staying at the bases of resorts. I might commute to some other mountains if I feel adventurous. Then I'm going to Switzerland for a bit and I imagine I'll stay at the base of whatever mountains I go to there. I'll be commuting to my laptop during that time as well.

I like my life.

I love your life! What the heck do you do? Web development or something?

I'm stationed in Germany (Army) and this is by far the best commute I've ever had. It's around 20-25 minutes from the city I live in to base. Once out of the city it's all two lane. I have PT @ 6:30 every morning so if I leave anytime between 5:00 and 5:45 it's so dead traffic wise the street lights aren't even on. Hands down the most fun drive to work I've ever had with or without snow.

If I leave anytime after 7:30.... it takes 50 minutes at a minimum. Sucks.

One thing I can say is there's around four different routes to and from work so that's the absolute best thing ever. Switching up the commute depending on how I feel makes it a much better trip. Some mornings you just wanna start out hoppin' on the autobahn and going over 100 for a few minutes to tell your day FUCK YEAH it's gonna be RAW!
