They're legitimate. It'll save my head but I have had two brimmed helmets, this and a sandbox classic, and what I worry about is getting the brim caught up in snow or clipping a tree and it just working my neck, but I doubt it'd happen it'd take a lot to really fuck you up. I like it, I feel safe in it, and it'll protect my head.

my helmet history goes as such:

pre inteligent life form: Some sort of gaper Louis Garneau helmet

then i upgraded to a: RED Hi fi (killer helmet)

From there i got a smith holt as a x mas gift

and finally i bought myself a RED Trace helmet two years ago and its still doing its job! great helmet!
