What's your favorite beer to drink while shredding?

people drinking microbrews while skiing are simply chiefs, save those for some post skiing activities....cant go wrong with PBR, busch, bud, or labatt

whatever i put in my backpack that day colt 45 40s and bud light most of the time..if i dont get drunk and ski i dont think i could do any tricks

Maybe I wear a full ski suit the entire time because I like being warm. It's not an issue of me being warm while skiing, if I get liquor at the hill it requires 20 or so minutes of standing around asking randoms if they'll buy me shit. I get cold quick.

busch! "clear and bright as mountain air"

also it seems like theyve fully committed to the "classic can" design which is totally 70's 80's skiier esque. AND busch classic radio on pandora plays some pretty sweet classic jams.

so theres my case for busch

Icehouse is always my go to beer. It's 5.5%, $11.99 a 30 rack, and is actually quite decent compared to the other stuff at a comparable price. Best bang for the buck, IMO.

pbr taste like metal unless its in a bottle. not sure why every single person in this thread is saying pbr. yes its cheap. so are a lot of other beers that dont taste like carbonated aluminum. dont usually drink a lot while skiing but how can you go wrong with extra gold? its made by coors its like 5.8% and its $7.50 for a 12 pack.

I generally prefer a flask of scotch on the mountain and beer afterwards, but when I do drink beer on the hill I love some Sierra Nevada Stout.

An hour south of Chicago. There's a few places in my town that I can get a 30 rack for $12 or $13, usually PBR or Icehouse.

Icehouse is made by Miller Coors. Lesser known, but tastes better than most of their other products.

Word, I appreciate a good cheap beer so I'll have to try it if I get the chance. In the meantime I'll enjoy my Natty and Keys

This by far. Couple cheap beers while putting on the boots/gear, one in the pocket for the first lift up, then pint of schnapps the rest for the rest of the day.

Anyone drinking microbrews on a chairlift is ridiculous.

I personally like Snapperhead better than Porkslap. Their stout is pretty good too, but I know stouts are an aquired taste. Snapperhead may be my favorite beer right now.

I wanna try the IPA soooooo bad. I bet the stout is really great, however I am usually only an oatmeal stout fan. But of course wouldn't pass the chance to try.

Are you in NY/MA? Trying to find where I can find Snapperhead. Only Porkslaps in my area.

I'm in Vermont, I haven't really looked around in Ludlow yet, but they sold the variety packs up in the Burlington area. But I would definitely try to get ahold of some Snapperheads, so good!

Yeah they sell 'em all over NY and MA but seems to be just the slaps. Maybe I'll give a call to see where they ship the variety packs.

CARIBOOO. supporting skiers like joey cheese

I havnt tried either. The only reason i tried going to the sun IPA is because I ride Whitefish, MT. They were hosting the mountains 65th birthday and if youended up on chair 65 you got free beer for every trivia question answered correct. And at the summit...65 cent PBR ON TAP!!! Best day ever.

Sessions has officially claim the roll of "BEER OF THE SEASON".. but if i have to go cans.. then a good Coors Banquet never hurts
