Whats your DIN setting

Purely out of interest whats your DIN setting?

My Seths are on 10

Fujis on 8

I weight 140lbs and am 5'8". Boot sole is 285mm (small feet!!)

most people have different settings for the heel and toe peice.

My toe is at 9, heel at 10, or something close.

7, it stays on when i want it to and ejects when necessary to prevent me from breaking something

I'm 5'5" and I weigh 110 and I'm using 8. Why are you that low?

If you're doing big jumps or any jumps at all, landing switch...you should be higher. I was at 5 before and I was busting out all the time.

How do you ski without falling out on every single hard landing?

thalls are 8 in front and 10 in back

vicous are opposite 10 in front and 8 in back, just cause i cant get them tighter

you guys know that none of this means anything without your bootsole lengths right?

a smaller boot takes more torque to get it out of the binding. for example one person that weighs 160 lbs and is 5'10 might have a din of 7 with a 295mm bootsole length. the same exact person might have a din of 5 with a 340mm bootsole length.

you kids are all morons.

your post contradicts itself. you say that the person with a smaller boot should have a higher din setting, but you say that a smaller boot needs more torque to be released. Therefore, you should really have a lower din setting if you have a smaller boot.

on my freeskis the bindings are at 17. i'm 6' 200 pounds.

typo. i meant a smaller booth takes less torque to get it out of the binding, therefore it needs a higher din setting to keep it in.

smaller boot = higher din.

damn most of you have a low din setting!

Look P14s

size 24.6 boot

5' 8"

140 lbs

180cm skis

equals...

DIN on 11 front and back.
