What the hell is wrong with you people? You call yourselves freeskiers, but you are the most ignorant, narrow-minded, insecure, little followers I've ever seen. Everyone must comply with your stupid-azz standards or they are suddenly "gay".

On this site, you're gay if: your skis are too short, your skis are too long, your jacket is not big enough or small enough, if you're a snowboarder or skiblader, if you use long poles, if you use really short poles, if you ski without poles, if your sunglasses are not the right brand...and on and on and f'ing on. Quit your whining. What are you - a bunch of little girls?

Get an f'ing life! You have no f'ing balls. You just do whatever your friends tell you is cool. You have no opinions of your own. You hide behind your keyboards and spew hate down at anyone who is remotely different than you "standard".

Bunch of little followers and haters... You should be disgusted by what you've turned this sport into. Just look at the negativity you've caused me to display. You're harshing my mello...seriously.

The point of this message is to hopefully get some of you to act like real men in 2007 and stop this little high-school girls club bulls**t.

for sure most people on this site are young and are sheep thats just how you are when your 15 but there are the people on this site that make me come back, the people that answer questions and give opinions about stuff, the others just ignore them and if you cant then i guess thats your problem.

congratulations, you have been on this site for a grand total of 3 hours so now you can make rants about what all of newschoolers is like.   its conceeded kids you who see one thread of newb vs newb fights so now you can generalize about why newschoolers is so bad. if newschoolers is so bad, why dont u just leave the dam site??? honestly Im sick of hearing people complain, newschoolers is the greatest thing to ever happen online besides google, so as much as I wish people like you werent on his site, i will keep coming back hour after hour, day after day to the site i love.

 
But don't worry, every single one of them worked extremely hard and paid for every penny of their gear out of their own pockets!
 
Why would that matter at all? Why do you care if their parents bought them their skis? I'm not sure how this affects you at all, so you have to work for your skis, big deal. Just cause some people don't pay for every penny of their gear is no reason to hate.

I like that, becasue it's actually so true. And as far as it goes with 15 year olds being the main problem, i'm 14, and i don't think I'm like that, like you described. But you're right and nothing will chnage what happens on here.

It's probable that he's been on here a hell of a lot longer than that, because of the accuracy of his points. He's either just signed up after browsing for a large amount of time, or he's posting under a new account. Either way, he's not a newb, and he knows how to use proper grammar.
 
i think it's true. so much hate does go onto this website, but alot of rad things come of it too. why, should people care how other people look. it's corrupting the pureness of skiing. we're all guilty of it too. we as skiers aren't all haters, but there definantly are alot of them. i say, just go back to the heart of skiing. do what you please. because isn't that why we ski, because we love it. not because we're trying to impress anyone.
 
I like how he's just joined today and already thinks he knows everything about ns. Sure, there's alot of hate, but if you don't like it, get off the site.
 
This is barely worth a response...but what is your real name on here? As it's more than obvious you're a alias.

P.S. the average age on here leads to lots of relentless and worthless flaming and hate. You do understand making a new name, and making a hate-the-hate posts, just adds to the pile of garabage already on here? You're not helping the problem.

I haven't even gotten on the mountain with my skis yet, and now I'm not so sure what I'll run into. I'm a long time skateboarder and former skiboarder, and the sickness of newschool made me want to be a part.

Maturity, though, is important in any walk of life. Something that I didn't know at 15 either.
 
How about you stop bitching that your gettin bitched at by NS kids. If your getting bitched at by us then take it and dont make threads telling us how stupid we are. lil bitch.
 
Every one is opinionated, wether negative or positive. Its how you decide to respond, is what really matters. If you respond like this, with a hate message then your just stooping to their level. Seriously man, you coulda done a better job. On the other hand I do agree, a lot of the members talk a lot of shit. And half the time its not even a good point, or well thought out. Sometimes its just talking shit to talk shit. Just realize that these lil fucks are a step behind in that thing called life. Seriously grow up.
 
Pretty fucking gay that you don't have the balls to post on your real account becuase you actually care what some kid to you says on the internet. I don't hate on people on this site becuase theres no point. It's not like someone is going to hunt you down and beat you up becuase you said something on here. You don't have to conform to what people say on this site anyways. I don't ski a lot, I snowboard, hate on me for it, I couldn't care less. I've skiied a couple of times and its really fun. Your just buying into what everyone says and dont have the balls to say anything with your real account becuase your afraid of what people will think about you, hypocrite.
 
this kind of thread is one of the most cliche type threads on here. we get it, you suck and you don't want people to hate on you.
 
i used to to hate alot on this site but ive stoped now cuz there is actualy no point at all to making people feel bad about their skiing
 
someone posting under an alias to avoid a flamefest, is sad by itself. the fact that someone cannot express an opinion without ridicule is absolutely absurd, and fucking sad.

The level of hate on ns is a constant. As someone whos been on ns more than three whole hours, and probably longer than most,(even if not on this login), i can tell you that for a fact. Just because its a constant, doesnt make it right, however. He had a legitimate point, even though this will no change. No number of threads will ever change the fact that people use the internet as a tool to attack others opinions in anonimity, which is too bad.

But, Ns as a whole is no better and no worse off than it has ever been. You just have to figure out who to ignore, and who to trust, and the classic "youre gay, you fuckin suck" from a 13 year old posting past his bedtime from his parents basement shouldnt offend you. this is the internet, it means nothing.

I read this post to my kids out loud with emphasis on certain parts. It is well written and points out the typical peer pressure that can be based on things that are down right silly!

BTW I look for content in a post first. I don't care about aliases.... all of you make me laugh. Everyones screen name is an alias!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
You, whether we like it or not, are right. And the only way to change that is to become a community, not a place to hate, but a place to accept and further.
 
whoa dude. way too broad. you are saying this to everyone on this website. maybe all the skiers on here aren't like that? maybe you've only seen little nips and bits of "freeskiing". about ur comment about if ur jacket isnt baggy enough er w/e you said, still doesn't matter, maybe some people do it cuz they are having fun, not to come down on any one. if you come up to the mountain and pull up to me and im a dick to you (which i never am, duh!) i expect you to make fun on me. but i am always willing to ski with someone else. there are a few people on here like that.

but what im trying to say in a peaceful manner is, your stooping to those peoples levels. your making fun of all on the people on this website. including me, and im offended by your broad views. try and get to know some of these people before you say stupid stuff like you did.
 
yeah NS is a positive, wonderful land where you can drink unicorn giggles and frolick in large meadows. seriously though NS owns, everyone has been very helpful to me, but sadly there has been alot of hate going around as of late.

the funniest thing about this, is that there is so much hate like this on TGR. NS is for newschoolers- younger skiers who are in to hitting rails and jumps. yea you are gay if your skis are too short and your poles are too long. but its the same on TGR (this guy may or may not be from there). you will get flamed there if you like short poles and dont like the type of skiing they like different sites are for different types of skiing. if you dont like newschool skiing and the lifestyle and attire that comes with it, this isnt th site for you.
