Whats wrong with this?

here is my summer setup i made. when i get down the down ramp i stop. whats wrong? is it too steep? i dont think the problem is sliding on the turf. thanks480559.jpeg

That would make sense. Normally the steeper the drop in the slower you go when hitting the transition.

I'm not an expert, but it seems like you'd lose your speed once you get to the flat part, because of the way drop is angled.

maybe add a shallower slope between the steeper part and the flat so the tranny is more gradual. that might help you carry speed

I'm surprised you don't just face plant. All the force that you gain just goes into bending your skis, so to keep speed you need to make a much more gradual transition.

loool this^

just put a couple ply wood planks to smooth your transition and you'll gain a lot of speed

What you really need to do is ignore everyone that thinks they know physics here, keep the same angle of the run in, but bring it closer to the jump. Less flat to lose your speed on. Now that's some real Travelling Circus shit there.

then i would go from really steep to up. i would probably snap my skis. should i just shorten it a little?

You post for no reason what so ever, I calculated and in 15 days you have posted an average of 42 times a day.

If you are still saying sped you are probably still an ignorant little middle schooler or you have no morals whatsoever....

This, it's basic logic didn't one of your parents say anything to you about that slope to flat?
