I have extreme pain in the middle of my shin and when I try to move it hurts and skiing is almost unbearable. I have full tilt twalls 2013-14 28.5 and the felt fine the first few days I rode them but this weekend I feel like I have really bad shinbang and it sucks cause I can't ski let alone ski to my potential. I occasionally get pain in my toes from overshooting stuff from my toe shooting up until the front of my boot. My boot is tight everywhere up until the top part of the boot right until the middle of my shin and it feels a little loose right at the top of the boot. I think because the wallischs are pretty stiff boots when my shins hit the front of the boot it's brushing my leg. Should I purchase softer tongues or booster straps to keep the liner closed to my skinny ass legs or both?
 
Are you sure that they are the correct size, 28.5 is a pretty big boot. After a few days skiing the liner would have packed out and usually it gives around an extra half size to full size of space. This could be the reason why they felt fine for the first few days and not now. Boots that are to big are the main cause of shinbang.

Do you have custom made footbeds? Without good footbeds your feet will not be in the right position in the boot and they will not be properly supported. This can lead to your foot moving around in the boot resulting in toe bang and shin bang. A well made custom footbed can also take up a bit of extra volume in the boot which may solve the looseness on the top of the boot.

Before investing in footbeds though I would make sure that the boots are actually the correct size, do a shell check, take the liner out of the boot, put your foot in the boot, slide your toes forward to the end of the boot, measure the distance between your heel and the back of the boot. If you have 3cm+ space then the boots are to big and unfortunately the only thing you can do to fix the problem is buy smaller boots. Also check the space between your calf and the liner, when you flex forward in the boot you should have space for two fingers.
 
bro, its called shin-bang, its what happens when you land backseat, knuckle, overshoot, or just crash heaps. ski properly and you'll be sweet.
 
Im going to go on a limb and say your boots are too big. Especially if you can feel your foot sliding forward in the boots.

Pull the liners out of the boot and slide your foot into the shell. Then with your toes touching the front of the shell, bend your knees forward and stick your hand into the boot behind your heel and see how many fingers fit between your heel and the back of the shell.
