the music is cheesey predictable and suckey. the voices are dumb shitty and gay, and the subject is usually idiotic boring and stupid!
plus you cant clame or try to act your a punk when your a sellout.

I wouldn't as much dislike a person that just plain listens to emo, I hate it but the music you listen to is your choice. However, people who dress and look emo... they're just plain asking to be beat up and raped in streets. I don't normally call things gay, but that is SO FUCKING GAY...

i dont like 'emo' because 'emo' has a distinct sound to it, resulting in generic bands that play crap for no other reason but to achieve the specified sound.

emo is fine, but the bands tend to be total sellouts. also,lyrics are such that you doubt the musicians are actually feeling the anguish, pain, and sorrow they sing about. as for emo kids, its a phase alot of people go through, they arent hurting anyone so whatever, their ethics may not gel with mine...but hey, live and let live.
