What's wrong with drunk?

So what's the problem with the word drunk? I hardly ever hear it anymore. It's like every week, there's a new word for a being drunk. Cocked, wasted, hammered, obliterated, destroyed, demolished, squashed (weird, I know), bombed, etc. What's wrong with good ol' drunk?
