What's with the rain?

i just moved up to the area and this is my first season i have spent entirely at Whistler, and I am curious to know if the rain that has been falling a few times this month is normal or if its because of el nino?

...my entire season at tahoe last year was similar to this one at whistler this year, we would get dumped on with lots of snow, then the rain would come and mess everything up again!
 
You're right. This is ridiculous. It snowed yesterday, and now it's raining again. Last season was much better!
 
boo rain. but if you think about it, we've had the yearly average of snow so far, so really, we've gotten an average year's worth of pow shredding in already...
