Whats with the new ski graphics?

Alright, im sure not a lot of you will agree with me but that may have to do more with age and music taste but whatever. Why is it that all ski graphics are going toward that punk/badass to busy looking. Its cool to see all these changes in ski graphics, but so many people are to consered about graphics and not concerned enough about performance, exc. Seems to me that all these graphics have just become to busy looking. When will these ski companies learn some of the best graphics can be simpler. Yeah its my personal opinion, but i think some of the best graphics were the first generation BC scratches. Simple looking. I want a ski without thinking i need hang these things on the wall and stare at them for hours. Simplicity is key

 
i agree, there is way too much going on with some the new ski graphics, others are still nice though

scratches have been simple and super effective for years. especially the scratch bc. and dynastar killed it this year with the simple and effective graphic. if they have better edges, i'd think about it for sure.

busy graphics are sick if they're done right, and K2 and Schmies know how to do them. everyone else.......ehhhhhh, not so much.

There are lots of simple designs out there 4frnt, High Society, T hall pros, some lines, For the most part salomon is simple i think rosis are simple as well just k2 pretty much are the punk/busy skis but i like their skis alot so it can be done tastefully

Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

The best graphics are the ones stolen from snowboard companies.

if its busy and interesting and cool, like the pistols or vicious then its fine, I dont really like the chronics tho, same with the ARVs, they are too full of not so good looking stuff but allright. The Bc's have been ruling it on that point, and I dont think most companies are leaning toward loading their skis, so its all good.

Everyone has different tastes, that's why there's so many different graphics, even though they really don't matter anyway.

I dont know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Yeah K2 has managed to do a good job with busy graphics. I like a lot of the Line 2004 ski graphics, the 1260, Mothership and especially the Skogen.

most ski graphics suck. the crichtons look promising. im sure the tanners will be cool and maybe the scratches (this yrs were sick) everything else will be stupid, o yeah maybe 4frnt will have something or other.

on a side note the dynastar legends are the shittiest graphics ever and theyve been going like 4 yrs straight now

Next year's Armadas are soooooo tight. They are a little busy but damn do they look good. I personally don't care for Armada skis but LOVE the new graphics. I think they are the best of the 06 offerings.

 
The new heads and the Mike Chrichton (cant spell last name) are the best looking ones this year.

i think simplicity is awsome, leik the new Salomons (im prolly the only one that likes them but i don't care) and also this years scratch with the white and orange, that is one of the sickest designs/colour layout i've seen

Personally I like the 03/04 pe graphics and I love the chronic and the chronic gold I think those are my two favorites

I totatly agree that everyone is playing out the whole cut and paste and neon. I too prefer the simplier designs, like the new MSP and new PE.

 
nah there are definately simple ones out there, the t halls, the scratch's, if you've seen next years 1080's they couldn't be simpler, the 4frnts, the chrons, and i'm sure i'm overlooking plenty

Also, why the hideous colors? The only new skis I like are the new volkls and the new 4frnts.
