What's with rolling yo ski pants above boots

i don't have a problem with it, i do it because then the bottoms of my pants don't get ripped up, and i will do it sometimes in the park just so i can buckle easier and then my pants dont get caught in my bindings, but keeping them up in POW in just stupid. first its asking to get cold and wet and i just dont see the use or style for it in the Powder. just my opinion.

I only do it when im wearing shoes, so I dont step on the bottom of my pants. I dont understand most skiing fads though so Ive stopped trying to figure them out

i think its fine if you do it when you walking with either shoes or your ski boots, but skiing i think it looks so bad, especially when they have baggy pants then they roll them all the way up to the top of the boot.

I roll my pants above the cuff of my boots when skinning. It's quick and easy to adjust the top buckles, with out having to roll them up, then back down again. somtimes if the snow is slushy in the resort, i will keep my pants rolled up above my boots to keep the bottoms dry. It's not a thing i do all the time.

i do it when i get too lazy to pull them down after walking from a muddy parking lot to the lodge
