I mean dude its like five months away....why not reflect on that sick rock you dropped or tell about hom you finally pulled a 5 or whatever. I mean if you ask me, man I had a great season..snowed 440in plus here in colorado, had some SICK powder days at Loveland ski area, X-Games were SO SICK, cold too...HA. TOns of parties there. I Partied on the Freeskiers bus...Those dude know how to party....I mean what a GREAT winter...Why ttry to loose that memory and talk about next season already..How was your people's winter? Pull any sick tricks? Have and sick pow days?

wow that sounded like a huge claim to me haha but unfortunately not all of us is lucky enough to go to those parties and enjoy the winter at its fullest.

personally talking about next winter gets me stoked on life for once i hate summer so talking about it kinda gives me hope i guess, I only got to ski for a month this season due to injury... the other 4 months i was in bed so it sucked.

No claim tthere, just talking aout what a great season..Snow was the best we had in more that 20 years up here. I can see it from your point of view though having an injury and all. thats too bad..hope you have a sick season next season...

dont get me wrong, im stoked for getting new gear. Anyone able to ski tomorrow? Is your local mountain closed?

ya i could ski tomorrow if i had a ride. actually i was going to ski tomorrow but my ride suddenly had work committments so now i cant ski i am pissed

i live in boulder colorado but ya keystone is my home mountain. A Basin is still open though which is where i have been going. they have a free rail jam every saturday i did the one last weekend and was going to do the one tomorrow but i cant...they are pretty legit

Oh ok, I live in Dillon. I am leaving at 5am to get a beach spot...I have been going there since Loveland closed. It's suppost to be good all weekend...Beer tasting on Sunday.

Yea in the white tent with the DJ...Did you see the Head skis SUV? Thats where I was partying. But Sunday there is going to be TONS of brewerys there. 20 bucks gets you unlimited tasteings

ya i remember the tent with the dj and stuff there were so many people there!! i cant drink yet though but that would be sick if i could cuz there is so much free beer and shit

i dont wanna talk about my 9 day season...i wanna talk about my possible 100 day season next year.

welll

went to if3 in montreal

got 63 days

got out to co

best ski day of my life at jay

landed a 7

but,

i broke my shoulder

got a bad concussion

didnt get as many days as i was hopin for

living in the past is like old washed up rockstars on mtv and stuff. talking about how much fun you have skiing isn't the same. anyway my season was sick, i skied stratton for a week during Christmas, saw my grandmother in maine (near sugarloff) and got some new gear from the oakley website! so fun. to make things evan better i found out yseterday that i can go to Wendels this summer (session 4 for anyone that didnt read my post thread from the other day). Stkd!

yeah, i had a sick winter. i gotta sponsor and went to whistler for the summer and then in the winter, gotta ski like 100 plus days and gotta do some really fun comps. i gotta go to the us open and aspen open and nao and at nao gotta hit like the most perfect jumps ever and then i went home and skied like 10 feet of pow for like a month and when the park got dug out, the jumps were the best my mountain has ever had and it was sick. but then i got a small injury and couldn't ski for a couple weeks. then the first day back skiing i did a small lil jam at my mountain and won some skis and gotta bunch of money for em then. my injury got worse again and couldn't ski hard and that was the end of my season. all on my sponsors money. it was sick. i have never had enough money to do that kind of stuff. i got all the newest close and best skis and boots. it was my best year yet. i learned a bunch of tricks and skied a ton of pow. huge claim i know but that seems to be the pattern of this thread.

but for next year, i will be 16 and get a drivers license so i can ski a lot more.

sorry for claimin but i was having a bad day today and now i realized i dont have anything to complain about. life is sick!!! be stoked for everything you have!!!!!

dude, it gives me something to look forward to. for the past few weeks, i wake up feeling sicker and sicker and go to bed looking more and more like a ghost. in a few weeks, im getting my tonsils out and have to spend the night in the hospital. i had menigitis as a toddler (lost the ability to walk) and got a fear of hospitals, wheelchairs, and walkers. i am so scared its not even funny. on top of that, i live in the shadow of my brother (twin of course) who stands a good chance at becoming a pro baseball player and getting a full ride to school. my parents think im a drug addict and my "friends" have stopped calling me to do stuff. a few of my teachers genuinely dislike me and my grades are only average. the girl that i was hanging with a lot has stopped hanging out with me and barely talks to me anymore. im getting ripped off by my current employer but i cant get a different job because i have to work around my sports schedule. how has your year been?

basically my season was really good. except for like a couple months ago when i was at keystone hitting the big jump line. i was hitting the second one and i completely over-shot it. i almost landed in the flat and got a really bad concussion. i had to get cat-scans on my brain to see if i had internal bleeding, and i had to get x-rays on my calf to see if i broke it...and yes i had a helmet. i do not remember anything from that day at all but is was probably pretty sick.

I boarded on the best conditions we had in a few years, it was a good year, a lot of chill people are leaving for college though, but they come and visit so next year will be just as fun hopefully

wow on my last day of skiing i broke my shoulder (some complex i forget the name) and got a gnar concussion haha

but other then that it was a sick season, finally went inverted in the park and progressed a bunc of other park stuff.

And when we were actually getting snow in tahoe it was pretty epic.

i had a sick season

progressed way more then i thought i would cuase i had a sliced off heel

landed a couple cork 9's and 7's with some new grabs

got some 270's onto rails

filmed some sick stuff with my new camera

it was just a plain out fun season cause i was skiing with an injury i wasnt focusing on landing a new trick everyday and i just skied for fun everyweekend with my friends.

that being said im already stoked for next season cause this one was so much fun and i never have anything to do in the summer cept save for new ski gear and stuff

dude nice thread i like it

well my season was awesome. skied a lot of park, learned quite a few new tricks, went to valdez and had an epic pow weekend, then finished off the season with a water skip, and 1 last pow day :D

We had the most snow in any resort in the US at one point. Thankfull it all melted quickly and we could hit rails again.

You claim the impossible sir, the perfect kang is only a dream, we reach out towards it, but will never grasp it~

(kinda) landed my first ever 5s and 7s in the pipe and off a regular jump!!

Won public enemies which sold for $250 on ebay!!!

(kinda) Did my first crown on a box and on a rail!!!

Made a lot of good friends and had a great time skiing!!!!

(hope these don't count as claims becuase they are not that good, but good for me)

count again,

generally a sick year this year, skied the best euro pow i have seen, progressed a fair amount in the park

looking forward to next season to see if espn make the x games more credible, seeing the rise of other comp (esp nao) and stoked watching more scandis and europeans dominating

i was definately stoked on landing my first switch 7 and right side 7's.

Had an amazing urban mission that lasted from 9pm till 5 in the morning. Consumed 5 Red Bulls, had 4 subs, spent aton on money on gas but it was all worth it. One of the most dope days ever.

120 days and still counting (i know, large claim... but i have the unemployment checks to prove it)

700 inch season and still falling...

nipple deep powder days

60+ days on my ep pros

my season sucked this year we only got about 1/2 inches of snow and our park crew was lazy as shit hopefully next year is better

my season was amazing, skied the most i have ever skied (102 days) skied the most pow i have ever skied in a season, dropped my biggest cliff ever (like 25-30 feet) learnt a ton of new tricks (switch ups fs and bs, 270's on, bs 270s out 5's switch 5's some more grabs and 180's off cliffs) i skied real pillows for the first time, i met the most chill people and just had so much fun, i skied real bc lines and i cant remember what else but i had so much fun, if i can top this season i will be pleasantly suprised, and to top it all off i got some sick photos and sick video footage of me skiing which iv never had before
