Whats ur university/college GPA?

3.88 at the U of O, in my winter term of junior year. Majoring in Economics and Spanish, with a minor in business admin

See I just love my life.
Professional Golf Management Major at Penn State University - Main Campus
Freshman w/ 26 credits (took summer classes) 2.89 and loving life.
My major is awesome /claim

yeah, but what type of salary can you earn and what are your job prospects after graduation?

not that those are the most important things in life, but they are relatively important, especially to pay off tuition at penn state.

haha srsly? go to one of the top 100 courses in the us and work for 10 years well and you have 80 k+. PSU's program is #1 (big alumni base with alums at places like augusta, ridgewood, pumpkin ridge, etc.) closely followed by arizona state.
ok this is too much of a claim now ..
imahomo.

im calling bullshit on 75% of you. Ive got a 2.7 with 1 semester left then im done with academia forever

How is it hard for a college student to understand that people like to claim their shit. A bunch of retards aren't going to come along and post their 1.8 gpa.

I got too involved with the Midwest Ski FIlm Festival, which ended up being worth it, and my friends clothing company that I am actively involved with Threyda... at least I wasn't smoking a ton of weed and sitting on my ass the whole time.

i won't bullshit, transferring so much has kinda kicked my ass, working with a 2.3 culm but last semester was a step up to getting it back up.

Im in the same situation as you. I would have been even worse off if i had continued playing rugby. I spent too much time drinking, and not enough time working hard and thinking about my future.

Why? We are a bunch of suburban white kids with parents who pushed us to excel in school and have high expectations from us.

A gross generalization I know, but for the most part I think it is probably true. When I was still in HS, bad grades = no time in the mountains. There was always an incentive to do well.

What people do in school and life are their choices, shut the fuck up and go have no life for another few years in your AWESOME major. Go fuck yourself douchebag

Meh, GPA's are totally relative to the person/major/school.
Sure its awesome to graduate with 3.8. But thats just it, its only a number.
List off your credentials and experiences and you become a lot more of a person than just a number.

I had a 3.7 till junior year. Then I helped reboot the ski club, founded a ski/snowboard team, joined the leadership program, got a chair position on 1 of 4 councils on campus, became very active in 2 other clubs, started getting more involved in the politics of my college, got a job in marketing at my local mountain, and started my own business. I graduated with a 2.7. But I learned way more by doing everything else than what I learned in a lot of my classes. And now I'm applying for grad school. I'm more likely to get into the program I am applying for with my resume than I would have been graduating with a 3.8 in my major.
It's really great that you guys are all so stoked on your GPA, but unless you are going to grad school with your degree, the actual number is pretty irrelevant. Businesses just care if you have received any honors or done extra curriculars and such. There are honor societies you can be in with a 2.5. You can found a club with 5 members and that looks better than being a member of any other club.
So Kudos to you guys, but make sure you come out of college well rounded and not just book smart.

just finished freshmen year at Niagara University
