Hey, does anyone think that Skogen can come back and win some comps? He definetly has the talent and style, he just needs to put it together.

i don't predict him winning many comps. doesn't seem like the type that cares. look at skateboarders and snowboarders. a lot of them don't do comps at all, but they're still some of the best riders

 
he injured one of his legs in a motocross accident so bad that it almost had to be amputated but with some hardcore surgery and rehab hes back skiing again and hopefully he'll be just as sick as ever. and just as a side note, he used to snowboard, mabye that gives him his laidback style and no desire for competitions. skogen is just a chillin guy and a great skier, eniugh said. Line is also super cool for stayin loyal to him while he was in rehab for 14 months and even made his promodel again this year. power to skogen, line, and the line team fo sho.

his stereotype seggy is pretty damn sick. We all know he's incredible and goes huge. But he really doesn't seem like that type of person who would care to win comps. he's just gotta go to the photoshoots n stuff to get more seggies.

 
skogen is sick. he has a very nice section in balance. while evryone was huckin he was already in the style era that we are in now.

skogen was in immersion and he was pretty sick in it but he wasnt throwin down that big but hopefully this year he will have some nice segs

also the only guy i've seen that styles out switch 180s that well. usually switch 1s are not floaty at all but his are and nice and stylie. so unique. its awesome.

 
my contact with MSP says he was in norway with pollard and they got some epic footage of skogen, plus they got a bunch of stuff from superpark or parkasaurus one of the 2, just you guys wait his segemtn in SM4 is gonna be better than his one is SM1

Skogen still rips. I got to ride with him up in Park City in January. He was throwing D-spin 9's like aint no thang!

dion is still an awesome skier, he still skis, but never competing.

skogen cant do do d-spins buddy unless he got nice and finnaly stuck one(no offense if im wrong). and hes the only guy ive seen that throws flatspins off of tables. most people do them in the pipe but he throws them down usually 5's and 7's over 50 footers, its so smooth too. hes does two of them in SM1 and they are orgasmic.

yeah just cause he's not competing doesnt meen anything u got people like rodeny mullen in skateboarding who kill it but hardly ever compete and douglas is a good example of a sick skier who dont bother much with da comps, but id like to see him crank out a few more segments next year

I'm not obsessed, I just haven't seen him in a while, and was wondering if he's going to come back from his injury and get some good segments, remember this guy got silver at 2000 Winter X, he kills it.

 
in Balance, he threw down the nicest switch rodeos. it was so smooth.
