What's up with my spinning?

Hey!

I have an annoying problem with my spinning! Whenever i spin i go really wide on the kicker followed by a "plow" while im on my inside edges of my skis. I get a really bad pop and just feels really weird. The spin starts and it goes really fast since my skis come together in the air and i have my arms close to my body aswell.

I can spin like this up to 7s so far, but it feels really weird on the kicker and i have never seen anyone else spin like this. It's like im trying to get like a grip on the kicker, instead of just going straight and popping then spinning like i should.

Any ideas how i could try to fix this problem and start spinning like everyone else are and i'm supposed to?

Having your ski's really wide isn't weird...More like normal, unless you carve a corked 720, where you'll want your ski's close. If you just do a 'normal' spin you always stand wide, and before going of the jump slightly incline them towards each other. That way you can really put your spin on. You can't just go straight of the jump and with your feet 5" apart and then whirl your arms around to get some spinning going.

Just look in any ski movie, a shot where the big boys go of a jump and you'll see the move their ski's towards each other. Maybe try to less exaggerate the movement...
