Whats up with music? gangsta?

I am a newb at ns i know u all like listen to gansta rap and thats strait and shit but anyone listen to like alternative and new york idie bands
 
I wouldn't say all of us listen to "Gangsta rap," in fact, I'd say the majority of people on this site don't listen to that. There are definitely skiers that do fit that stereotype, but for the most part I think people here listen to a lot of different music.
 
hip hop from ski movies, reminds you of the movie, helps style too, im not a big fan of hip hop/rap but i like it when im skiing, but i guess its just preference, whatever you can flow too
 
I don't like gangsta rap. I like rap that spreads a more positive message. "Ooh Aah" by the Grits and "Jesus Walks" by Kanye West are two of my favorite songs.

I also listen to emo, rock, and alternative too though.

Anything with a good beat gets me stoked for skiing. Something you can bob your head to going up the chair. I like to just fucking crank it up and zone everything else out.
