Whats up with 4FRNT??

I ordered MSP's in 160 back in August. They were supposed to be delivered in Oct, which was pushed back to Nov. Then ive been getting the runaround from them on a delivery date. They take a long time to respond to emails. They said i should have my skis before Dec. 10th last i heard. HAs anyone received their MSP's in 160? They told me the 160 batch was the last batch made. I dont know whats up but this is getting me pissed now, ive been very patient but not the ski season is in full blast.

well, I was told via email from Joe (12/3) that my skis should ship the next day (12/4), and be delivered in about 5 days, I still haven't gotten them as of yet, and haven't heard if they did in fact ship or not.

I have to dissagree though, Joe has been really quick in getting back to me when I emailed a question (typically about shipping).

To everyone else, thanks for the replies. They used to get back to me very fast, but recently it has gotten worse, maybe they are overloaded with emails, but they have always been courteous and personable with their responses. So nobody has gotten their 160's yet huh? I was told id have them by the 10th, but i was also told i would receive an email when they ship out and i havent received anything yet.

160s are good for someone who is 5'2 like me. But if you are at an average height, please stick to something larger, for your sake. I think sometihng around your height is good, so if this guy is 160 cms tall, let him go for it.

well if you want something productive and on the topic hear it is, i heard that 4front is selling skis they dont even have. i live in so cal and know of all the fires and they didnt burn any cardboard factory down and in fact the fires didnt even burn close to any industrial buildings. you just got sold and lied too. the started selling the skis before they were even finished pressing them so basically you got fucked

actually alpentalik, I talked to Sterbienz just a few weeks or so ago, and the reason things were not shipping WAS that the company that supplys 4frnt with there shipping boxes was hurt by the cali forest fires. I did not assume anything, I simply know whats going on. 4frnts are sick, If you wanna ride them come into our shop and take them for a test spin. Come buy from us, we will cut good deals on skis for ns members.

If Joe said they would be delivered the 10th... then it wont be long now. and to whoever said 4frnt is shipping skis they dont have? you are dead wrong, i have seen the 170s and 180s, they sold out just as many as they produced. 160s should be delivered around now.... the original date for shipping was the first week of november, you have succesfully waited until the 11th of December... you can wait a few more days, the skis ARE WORTH IT, TRUST ME!!!

Paying $600 or probably more for a pair of skis, then having to wait several months, and then having the company stop replying to you is reason for concern. I doubt that 1080dude is getting fucked, but it's still horrible business, as anyone with any business sense whatsoever would know.

It does not matter if a company is brand new or 100 years old, that warrants a complaint. I'd be right pissed if I was waiting that long.

and alpentalik, if u really do ride for 4frnt, you are doing a very bad job of representing them. these kids that your calling ignorant and all that shit are the very people that you want buying 4frnt skis so that they will keep paying you or whatever to ski for them. You seem too blind-sided to see that. but anyone with any business sense whatsoever would know that, right?

ok, i took a step back...you guys are right, i take back everything i said...4frnt is a sick company, they are what skiing needs...and they have the product to back it up...don't let what i have said turn you down from the company, as i am merely a development team rider and nothing more...i apologize for what i said and hope that you all can ride a pair sometime in the future, although i can't gurantee that you will like them, as everyone has different preferences on how a ski should be, but i don't doubt that the majority of you will enjoy them greatly.
