haha so i've been visualizing a trick for a while and i'm not sure exactly what it's called/ if i should do it

i picture myself bringing my right shoulder down and turning left doin a bit of a flip and landing switch
i can do 3's and whatnot, should i try this/ what's it called?
easy hard?

cork n00b. learn it on ur feet then try it on ur skis. its way eaisr to do skiing tricks if u can do them on ur feet

ya i thought either cork or misty, but it's only a 180 not a 5....
it's been confusin the shit out of me lol, i can do it on the tramp every time

how far are you going inverted if you are going inverted at all? cause for a misty dont you need to do a front 1? and if thats a cork its one short as hell cork. idk try it though it could be a sick move.

lol thats why i'm asking
if i do it i'll get it on video so i can ask what it is again
i'll probably throw it over christmas

sounds to me like its a misty 5

misty 5 is actually a front flip 180 (i know it doesnt look like a straight front flip but it is a front flip) and the flip is counted as 360 for some reason so its a misty 5.

cork would be if your feet go out in front of you, misty is when your head is out in front. i actually learned misty 7's this weekend but if you can only do a 3 i wouldnt go for it unless your super comfortable in the air, but i really wouldnt because you go upside down and all that. they arent too hard tho but i am really comfortable in the air so it may just be due to that.

If you're dropping your left shoulder back, and spinning a backflip to your left, it's a flat 5.

actually, that doesn't make sense. You're dropping your right shoulder back but spinning to the left??

haha i never even knew overflip was a real term, i was gunna say it, but i didn't want to look like a douche.

i'm thinkin it's a misty five now. i'm brinin my right shoulder down towards my boots and bringin my feet over my head, doin a 180 as all this happens

ummm well if he is saying it is a flip then it is defanitly not a cork. Im pretty sure he is discribeing a misty which is not a really hard trick but its probobly not in your skill level if all you can do is threes

haha i feel like i can do it though, i've never tried anything harder than a 3. i also stomp it every time on the tramp. maybe it is out of my range though

Underflip are 90 off the lip, side flip throwing your head to the hill, and landing switch, so it's not that...

And I'm pretty sure its not a rodeo, since those are more backflipish... but I'm a noob too

i would at least get fives down before doing it, but even that isnt too good of an idea unless you really really feel comfortabel in the air and in your 5's (i which case you should probably be able to throw 7's as well with little difficulty). if your gonna do it, beware that you do go upsidedown so you may hit your head (so i'd go off a bigger jump but not too big- just make sure you can clear your head so you dont bust it on the nuckle of the landing)

dont try it on a park jump. try it into pow first, and its either an over flip or a mysty 5 i was doing the exact samething on the tramp and couldnt figure it our either.

are you going backward over your head or frontward over your head? if youre going forward its a misty mostly if backwards its a rodeo

if youre anything like me, youre going to drop your shoulder and nothing wil happen.

But youre probably not... youll probably cork yourself and say ayaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

do it!

haha i just need to wait till my neighbors aren't home then i'll get a vid of me doin it on the tramp
used to have a tramp to myself when no one lived there it was so key

hmm front flip 180 sound right? lets see back when I used to jib we called them a "BARANI"

throw it large with a mute grab just like Big Air Dana Flahr!!!!

/sick

actually a misty 540 is a front rolling 540 rotation, getting inverted. A front flip 180 ( what your probably doin on the tramp...they are super easy...) is called a *Barani.

*see previous post

if you wanna nail a cork 720, its super easy...first get 7's upright, even better with an iron cross.

next... to cork the 7, set the same rotation as before but as you go to look, tilt your ear to your shoulder...this littlle ear to shoulder move is so crucial because it sets your rotation on a different axis. Dont ask me how, dont ask me why, but it works. think about it.

keep your knees up tight with that cross...you can learn to get more and more corked...just keep it tight.

look for your landing early over the shoulder your spinning...stomp it.

now go find some pow...

idk i think it depends like i drop my left shoulder and spin right but over my right shoulder to bio on tramps

soo idk depends on how he spins i think and how much he drops his shoulder
