Whats the situation in Sun Peaks at the Moment

they really dont have very much snow. for some reason its pretty mild right now. sun peaks always opens earlier than most montains in the area, maybe because the do great summer grooming or the pass holdrs dont mind skiing on rocks. but i would say they will have 5-7 runs open first day. maybe a few park features, but i think i remember that last year they had discounted lift passes for the first bit with other mountains season passes.
 
The discounted lift pass is only good if your local hill is open. Last year I went opening week (it sucked ... but was the best thing going) They discount the ticket based on how much terrain is open, my home mountian wasnt open, so the seasons pass discount was void. I think alot of hills do the same thing.
