What's the right length for me?

So I read a thread on some guy who said he was 5'3 looking for new skis and said he was looking at 164s. I'm about 5'5 and want j skis but always thought the ski was too big for me. Would 164 be rideable for me?? I currently ride 156 switchblades.

How much do you weigh? If you are pretty light, then 164 would be a good length. If you are heavier, then size up a little.

I weigh about114-115

164s would be great for you. You might think they are long but really you just adjust to them. IM the exact same weight and height and I'm skiing 168s and 170s for next season.

Thanks for the help! It's always appreciated K+!

Really which ones do you ride? The Whipits are the only ones with 164 dimensions I think.. I was looking at tropic thunders or wait until new skis are released

I had the same problem except I wanted the all play which only cam in 171 it was a little weird at first but I got used to and had no problem… and now they fit me perfectly

Yeah I'm debating whether to get the all plays so I can have them longer of have the whipits which will fit me now and a little longer. What all plays did you get?

Doesn't really matter what graphic he got, as all the All Plays are the same same with the Whip it. Get the ski that is best for you. If you want a more of an all mountain/one quiver ski get the all play. If you spend 75% or more in the park, get the whip it.

Thanks for that answer bro, thats what I needed to know. I spend about 90% of my time in the park so it sounds like the whip its are what I need.

90 underfoot should be great for you. Also, wait for the new graphics. They are really sick, I've already seen them.

Yeah 90 was my thought, and now you make me want to see the new graphics!! J skis has the craziest graphic ideas, thats what makes em great..

I got the margaritavilles… personally I would go with the all play because thay really don't feel that long after the first day or so and their much more versatile whether your hitting the park or cruising the mountain or even get a little bit of powder, but if you're solely going to ski park the whip it will be much easier to controll
