What’s the point of a edgeless ski if you don’t ride urban

My buddy has the bdog edgeless and other than being super easy to slide rails it’s impossible to ski anything other than perfectly soft snow

This thread is valid, edgeless skis genuinely suck if you are not actively grinding a rail. My buddy bought a pair LP's off of Lupe and tried using them on some all mountain days and would just constantly slip out and eat shit.

The point is freestyle...

A ski setup that's not meant for anything but jibbing, that's the futurez, imo.

Ya gotta be able to make a turn tho......

There were edgeless Deviation LPs?

Your edges cant crack if you dont have any. Also sliding wood rails, logs, concrete, aluminum etc

Have you ever done a rail on an edgeless ski?

life changing shit

I've slid rails on skis that have lost their edge and anytime I go back to skis that still have edge it is much nicer. Rails seems to be stickier more often when you don't have edge in my experience.

I would rather just round the fuck out of edges that ride edgeless. Sure still a difference, but if you really round that shit, like really round it, you're not catching shit, and the edge still keeps you from bashing the sidewall in for a little.

Its actually not hard to hold an edge on them, you'll slip out on hard snow/ice but you would do the same with your dull park skis. I think armada zero collection is about experimenting and the edgeless are designed for urban if that answers your question.

can confirm that i rode my bdog edgeless at the resort and fell over 3 times just skiing to the park. also, not having an edge on the rail feels smooth but you can't grip nearly as well. i found it hard to swap or spin as well as an edged ski

they have no pop after a couple of uses and you can’t ski then on icy days. from what i’ve heard

A buddy of mine is riding them and says they’re plenty poppy, and really aren’t that bad unless you can see your reflection, but are absolutely insane in soft snow and slush

"Incoming voy10 edge removal propaganda"

Yeah let’s stick to every feature and always catch up on everything including steel, sounds like so much fun, edges underfoot are great!!!!!!!
