Whats the mpg of your car

i've been averaging out at like 15 mpg....

but according to my car, on long, highway trips, i can get up to 32. and i can get 20-something city if i dont drive like an asshole, but of course, i do

pretty much the same here. 6-8 city, and 13-14 highway unless its almost on empty and theres nothing in it i get about 16-17 highway, cruisin at around 60mph. lifted cherokee 33's and 3.55's. soon to be 5.38's on 36's.

I get on average 410km in the city to a tank, thats about 255 miles for all you americans. I drive an 06 Chev Aveo hatchback. Its amazing on gas

2000 audi a6 avant

advertised at 16/24, and its got 134k, but i wouldn't say that its too much under that

but it does have an instant mpg thing on the screen, and that goes to under 5mpg if i downshift

I average 35. If I really bomb it around 32. If I drive it really nice highway I've gotten 38.

That's the actual mpg too. Wrote down the numbers every time I filled my car up for 3 years.

Most people just go with the factory number. A lot of people aren't getting close to the gas mileage they think they are.

50 ish on the highway easy. cinci to NYC=700ish miles, $45
2010 Jetta TDI, diesel kicks much ass
its actually supposed to get better as the car beaks in

i've been averaging 15 mpg in my 2004 Audi A4.

i feel really bad, because i can get 30mpg in that thing if i really wanted

dude, its all about the 2nd gen 12 valve cummins 6bt.

all mechanical, sooo reliable. easier to work on. easy to build more reliable power for less money.

once they switched the 6bt to 24 valve it all went downhill. those motors can build alot of power but they really arent that reliable.

diesel power took a 12 valve to a million miles, i doubt you could do that witha 24 valve without spending over 100 grand on pumps and what not.

my dad has a 99 2500 5 speed cummins and weve spent about 20,000 in engine repairs since he bought it brand new. its all stock save for an economy chip.

diesel adds up fast when stuff breaks lemme tell ya.

Yep.
They're my parent's old cars.
My dad is heavily invested in a bunch of Mercedes repair shops around my city and they do REALLY well cause everyone around here has a Benz, so they upgraded to the new model Mercedes and gave me the old ones. To be honest I wasn't very happy when I got the cars cause I felt like they could be put to better use being donated to someone who doesn't have as much as we do, but my parents figured that they could use them as hand-me-downs. Its kinda ridiculous. Even though I drive when I have to get to the mountains, I use my bike more than my cars...

jeez lu eeze your lucky, ill probably get a 500 dollar peace of shit never heard of car when i get my first car

1966 ford F100

8 city

12 highway

the 390 thats in it is a POS that runs like crap and burns oil.. I am just waiting for my 428 to get rebuilt so I can put that in there.. Not my economy driver by any means, but Its a sweet old truck.

2001 subie forester

22-24 city

24-28 highway

Depends on how I drive.. and most of the time I run premium through it.

Has a full rack setup and I always have some combo of 2 bikes on the top of the car, and alot of times I carry 2 on the top and a 20 inside. Not great for mileage but I love being able to ride all the time where ever I am.
