When I used to race, I got 2 Slalom, 2 GS, 1 SG a season and with cost prices was around £1250 ($2500). Wasnt good enough for full kit sponsorship. Fortunately it didnt come out of my own money. Hence when I had to start buying my own kit I quit.
ya same for race skis i bought 1 pair of slalom 1 pair of gs 1 pair of sg and a pair of plug boots qith lifter and tons of boot work and a pass and trainging time it was like a 3k year luckly i didnt pay for all of it
Yeah, I spent about that this year. Student discount for a season pass is clutch though. My mountain offers a $300 season pass for students. I've skied like 30+ days this year. The most expensive part now is the gas!
probably enough to buy a small airplane. Most I ever spent was probably my first year skiing since I was a gayper and bought most of my stuff at shops so I didn't get very good deals on it. cept outerwear most i've spent on a jacket/pant combo was like $150.
100 for anthems, 200 for chronics, 130 for bindings, 250 for impact pro's, 350 for the full orage kit, 100 for a season pass, then ski everywhere else i can for free
Well, only the last 2 years. Probably like $1800 ish this year, and like $1600 last year. Them soem in teh off season. If it was retail it would be a ton more though. I meant retail was a few grand or something, I dunno. I already have a car. I wanted to get set up so when I'm in college I don't need much gear (I'm a senior in hs this year).
like ummm skis 400 pants 120 coat 220 goggles 90 poles 2 dollars gloves 20 dollars ski pass 200 so about 1000 something good thing my parents are nice and they spilt it with me
I spent 2K on a basejumping pack, now all I need is a lil euro trip which is only another 2K and then lift ticket 70 Euro then price of falling for 10 seconds with skis on....Priceless?
