Whats the most expensive thing you have held?

I saw this somewhere else and it had some good responses.

Whats the most expensive thing you have held or been near in a proiate setting? Not like looking at the Mona Lisa in a museum unless you were moving it or something.

I have two. One is stolen from the other list but it applies to me too.

I sat in a Bugatti Veyron (didnt drive it).

And my degree. A very expensive piece of paper.

I have held several double rifles that were $200K+ each. Did not have a chance to shoot them unfortunately.

I don't think cars should apply to this thread, especially if you didn't drive them. That's like saying that I sat in a hundred million dollar jet while flying to ________ on a United Airlines flight.

I agree about the cars and I dont. I get what you are saying but you are sharing a commercial jet liner with many people. If you flew it by yourself for pleasure then Id count it. Then again, I didnt drive the Bugatti.

I held a pair of DPS that i saw on the ski rack once, didnt get to ride them though.

I held my friend's new baby. They've already sunk a bunch of money into it and they've got big plans going forward, gonna be expensive for sure.

arri alexa and amira cameras

the Amira is about 50k CAD for the body, i think the whole setup was about $60k

the Alexa is about 45k CAD for the body, whole setup around 55k

25k, also silver and gold a few years back. I don't really think I've touched that much stuff that was outrageously expensive

I play saxophone and got to play a pro Selmer Paris Mark VI valued at $20,000. It was beautiful, high notes sang and low notes had the balls of Tanner fucking Hall. Also the mouthpiece on that thing was like $3,000.

Had a dreamy session on a custom shaped 9'6 pintail single last summer. The guy who shapes them is a local legend where i'm from. £11,200 :o

Just though of another weird thing that had a ton of value.

I held my external hard drive with my Bitcoins and ETH back at the end of last year. That was a valuable hard drive at the time (its was sold off then and is mostly empty now).

Played a $50,000 Grand Piano that was bought in the 80s so it's probably worth more now. Idek how my grandma got it.

Flew a $30 million airplane last night. Also once held Jimi Hendrix's Woodstock Stratocaster at a music thing in London. Don't think they'd let people do that anymore haha.

Drove a Lambo Gallardo to the Laguna Beach Concours d'elegance. A friend had too many cars in the show so I got to drive the Lambo. That was the lowest priced car he took that year. If we are sticking to the no car rule, there was the Black No limit AMEX I could buy the ga damn world. Realistically, my kid. In more ways than one.

I work at a marina and one of the members gave me $80 to drive his C52 yacht down the Lake Michigan coast a few miles to his house. Those are around $1,500,000 so probably that.

I camped (not sure if it's even camping at this point) in a family friends motorhome that was 750k new.

What a stupid fucking response. Really dude, fuck.

It seems that the word "held" is far too confusing for some. I've slept in hotels that are worth several hundred million dollars. I've been inside skyscrapers worth billions. I've flown in jets worth several hundred million dollars. However, the things I have HELD are worth significantly less. To help others with this seemingly difficult word, here is an image to assist.

One time I picked my nose in a country with an annual GDP of $18 trillion

Used to work at a credit union, I would count down the vault everyday with a couple hundred G’s. Thinking back on it, pretty crazy how desensitized I was to holding fat bricks of Benjamin’s.

The other day I drove my friends brand new Mercedes S. It was so weird cus Im used to manual and all this simple stuff in a car from the early 2000s. Don't know how much the car costs but you can just imagine it bein pricey as fuckkk

I rode in a bus once. It was more expensive than your friend's car.

How much did that cost? Did they cook it just as-is or season it? If I go to Japan I want to try it.

Probably $250-$350.. can be considerably more depending on the grade

I hit a dab rig worth 8k one time. Not as expensive as my diploma but i'd still consider it the most ridiculously expensive thing I've ever held, especially consider how delicate those lil fuckers are!

The fuck? Calling bullshit. The guy who owns it probably said it was worth that much and was spewing bullshit out his face

I had an insane job working for a billionaire couple shooting concert videos at their ranch that they turned into a classical concert venue. They were actually very gracious and would loan priceless instruments for their favorite musicians to play. I had no idea there were instruments this expensive but while there, I briefly held a violin and cello that were said to be worth around $1,000,000 usd. Likewise, they had the most expensive private collection of vintage steinway pianos in the world. I can't even guess how much those were worth but definitely played chopsticks on them when waiting around.

$900, it was the hyatt tokyo restaurant so im guessing it was upcharged. me and my dad had no regrets.

My dad sells watches. I've had in my hand some pretty expensive watches. Brands like Patek, A.Lange, Cartier, Bvlgari and more. I'd say the maximum I`ve held is probably around 500k.
