Boots fitting in already mounted bindings, I need to get new boots, I can't take my old ones any longer, they're cold, painful, put me in a strange position, and flex funny if at all. I was thinking of getting spks, either kreation or kaos from one or two years ago. I have bindings mounted on my skis already for a boot that's like about 11.5 inches in length (which is like 29 cm), If i got boots that were just a little bigger in size, would I need to remount my bindings? Or don't the bindings slide a little bit on their current mount? Or maybe the same size spk's will feel better.

Anyone know something about this?

Well you should be able to adjust for the next shell size up no problem, but if its more than that then you will need to mount. Most bindings have 1cm in either direction to adjust for boots, it all depends on how they were mounted.

It depends on what bindings they are and how they were mounted, but most of the time they can move a full size or two.

Thanks, I forgot to mention that right now I have tecnica boots, if that makes a difference.

There is a bug on my screen right now, so annoying!!!!!!

What's the BSL on your boots, and is that the boot the mount was originally done for?
on the side of the heel there is a little number in the 250-350 range, what is it?

So you are going to get size 26 boots? Well the spk is 307 BSL and that is a lil more than a cm so you might have to re-drill, unless you are able to fit into a 25 spk

I don't know what size spk's I would get, or if I'll even get spk's since I'll probably never be able to try them no. I'll probably only get to try all mountain and race boots. But i guess I'll just bring my skis and see if I can find a boot that fits both my foot and mount, unless it comes down to no being able to find one. I'd much rather have a comy boot and two mounts than an uncomfortable boot and one mount.
