Whats the legal deal with urban rails?

will i get into trouble by doing urban rail, i also have some sik urbans at my school, what would happen if i got caught, also, theres like 30 ft. down ledge INSIDE my school, any ideas how i could get in there and ski that?
 
an idea would be to watch forward. and forget about legal issues. worry about that when you have to.
 
basically its tresspasing. but fuck it, do it till you get caught, your not going to prison. I got busted everytime I did urban this year, and unless you have a fucking dick cop, or your being a complete idiot they usually just make you pack up and leave. Most cops in reno though are just confused. What? your what? on what? on skis?
 
whats the penalties for that stuff? is it harsher if it's on school property? (suspensions)? and what about urban INSIDE school, probably like impossible, anyway to get permission?
 
I got busted 50% of the time i urbaned last year but it was worth it never got kicked of the school cuz it was at night
 
the biggest thing you need to worry about is tresspassing and defacing of public property. If your copperative with the po po they usually tell you to clean up or even ask you to be careful and clean up when you leave.
 
theres some nice ass handrails IN my school but geting snow in is too hard along with a drop in ramp plus sneaking in

if its outside like in the front then i would def. hit it. just dnt be a puss

if its inside than i wood say fuk it and hit somewhere else
 
Ask whoever owns the property first! If they say no, dont do it cos you'll get busted. If they say yes, you will have no probs at all!

Say you're filming and will advertise the store/school/office building company etc or someting similar so they think they're getting something back. Buy the guy who owns the land a bottle of wine or summat. Its best to act like you're doing it for real and professionally to get permission. If you just rock up and act like skater punks they'll just call the cops.
 
for a ledge in school? ive seen it done. put skis in your locker or somewhere safe and then bring the snow in with garbage cans on wheels after hours at the school and hurry up before anyone comes by
 
if you think they are going to say no then dont ask then you might be abule to hit it a few times befor po-po showes up other than that just hit it
 
i started an urban jibbing club at my school. any card carrying member was allowed to hit rails on campus that weren't marked with "no skateboarding/in-line skating/grinding" signs.

but I'm pretty sure one of the reasons we were allwed to start the club is because nobody actually thought people could ski on handrails.
 
i dont think they could do anything to you the first time they caught you outside of the school on the schools property. But if you are caught inside the school not during school hours trying a rail you will probably get busted for breaking and entering-so you could be convicted of a crime not to mention you would probably get suspended or expelled.
 
my brother told a cop in vt that he was freiends with kelly clark and they let him stay. and you can just tell them youre in the x games. that usually works unless theyre dick heads
 
how did you start that club, can you send all of us some info so we can try to get that passed in our schools? how did you convince the school? your my hero
 
if i was to gain access into a school or a building, how could you get speed without bringing in snow (which would like gurentee you would get in trouble), also
 
hahaha in this movie of guys from my high school i saw they were seshing this rail and a cop came and she was like you cant hit this rail and then they were like aww come on please? just once? and then one of them gos awww youd be SOOO cool and then the cop[ was like well... alright and then walked off. funny shit.
 
yeah, next year me and a couple other kids over here at WLHS are starting a freestyle ski club. we have all the arrangements made but i don't think we ever thought of jibbing the school. that would be sick.
 
no way u can slide a rail inside that is trespassing and how will you get inside, outside the cops might give you a break depends on the location
