im moving out to montana in a month and im lookin to set myself up with some nice fat twinnners before i leave. i havent really been paying attention to new skis in the last couple years so if anyone has any suggestions about what some good ones are it'd be appreciated. a friend told me to get rossignol scracth BC's, but i dont really know anything about them.....anyway, hope y'all can help me out....later

its a personal preference really at the ski store fell the flex of the ski and ask someone that works there. but my suggestion is the seth pistol

ya the mo ships are tight check on ebay right now a 172 with like 5 day left only 225.00 or something like that really wide has to be the widest skis i have seen for a while

but by far the pimpest looking skis are the scratch BC's there so pimp and the colours are so money man.......

Hey, where are you moving too in montana? I live in Missoula, hmmm. Personally, I like Lines, 4Frnts, or Dynastar skis. Although i have only ridden dynastar i really like the 4frnts. But that is my opinion and I dont like to go with the mainstream skis, i.e. Scratch BC.

yeah, scratch bc is awesome, way better then the pocket rocket(stiffer), but it can't handle the really freaky shit.

well, there is Snowbowl and Marshall that are close. Big Mountain is 3 hrs away and many other small resorts are about 1.5 hrs distance.

you will be happy with any of the skis mentioned, they are all amazing pow skis.

The only one i wouldnt get or do is the duct tape 2 toboggins or whatever.

Go for the seth pistols. They are so sweet! So damn big too. Or maybe the volant Spatula! That thing is a tank!

 
dude get Pistols, i have them and they're SICK. they may seem like they're soft, but that's just the tip and tail, the center of the ski is pretty damn stiff, so they ride really well, really stable. and they're still good in the park, but you wont have to worry about that when you're skiing all the sick terrain in montana
