whats the differnce with a cab,switch and fakie?

i have found a way to not hurt my self and that is not to fall

you can call it a cab when itsa a big jump. you can say switch when your riding it into something and fake when you come out of something like a fakie of a rail-. i thinks thats about it!

skateboard wise, switch is when you do the trick 'the other way'. if you kickflip regular, a switch flip is a goofy kickflip. pretty much it means the unnatural way. fakie is a trick done going backwards. so if you kickflip regular, you'll be riding goofy but ollie-ing off your nose; the kickflip is done as if you were regular but you travelling backwards on your skate facing goofy. cab refers to steve cabelleros patented move, the fakie frontside 360. cab has now gone on to mean any fakie frontside spin. so you do a fakie ollie (riding goofy, but ollie regular off your nose) and the front of your body spins turns forward to the direction you are travelling.

This is all coming from the skatboarding side of me.

Cab:a switch frontside or backside 360.

Switch:riding backwards down, up, or off somthing.

fakie:when you land switch, but don't have to. ex.railslide to fakie.

Also a switch 540 or a switch 900 can be called a cab 5 or a cab 9.
