What's the difference?

Between:

1) Rossignol Scratch 140 Ti Bindings

and

2) Rossignol Axial 2 140 Ti Pro Bindings

The Scratches are 225, and the Axial 2 Pro are 200.

What is the difference? And which ones do I want to centermount my 06' Scratch FS's with? I weigh 180 lbs.

i'm on live chat with a guy from backcountry, he said that both are 08, but they have a different heel piece? He said that the Scratches are better for freeskiing, but I can't really tell a difference between them by just by looking.

I think the axial 2 have a different toe peice with only upward release, as the axial 2 this year replaces the old FKS bindings. I dont know for sure though. I just got the 08 Rossi 150 axial 2 and thats what they're like.

ok, nevermind, toe piece is only different on 150 and up models.

they look identical though.

the ti's i am pretty sure have a riser of some sort, whereas the scratch just has the pad thingy that comes on the px12 jib. don't quote me on that but im pretty sure.

Even though the TI has a riser, you can still mount without, and the little 3mm pad thing doesnt do anything, so my recommendation is just get whichever is cheaper

and by riser, i think its a full length mounting plate, but im not sure. my OTHER recommendation would be to call rossi and check b4 you buy
