Whats the difference

Ok, im getting some twins either the end of this year, or next year and i have some questions. My mom picked me up a mag from the hill its called ski press and they have a some skis for different types of skis. Two of the ones i were looking into were "The NewSchoolers/Slopestyle skis" and "The Big Rippers, Big Fat Twin". What would be the difference between a fat twin and a freestyle one. Would the slopestyle be good for mainly just park, while the big fat would be good for all mountain/park? Some of the skisin the Slopestyle are trouble makers, fugis, and mojo 80's. In the big fat there is the big trouble, mojo 90, and the teneigty gun lab. I like to ski park, groomed, and glades. So what category would be good for me?

fat would be more big mountain ski

slopstyle would be mainly for park

you can also get an all mountian twin..

big mountain twin if u ski like 25% park 75% offpiste

park twin is u ski like 75% park 25% offpiste

all mountian twin if u ski like 50-50

that and others, some skis are better all mountain than others, such as the K2 public enemy, the LINE chronic wide, and the volkl karma. also it depends on your height and weight, because if you are really light, you can take a soft park ski like the fujitive and it would be great all mountain.

Fat Skis will flaot through powder and freestyle skis will be better in the park

I would try scrathes or k2 pe's

I'm pretty sure the mojo 80 will be a good choice for you, it will definately rip all over the hill and in the park, but I'm not sure if they are still as stiff as they used to be. I have the 01 madtrix and they are the stiffest ski i have ever seen.

correct, unless you ski really hard. heads are typically pretty much the stiffest twins you can buy.

armadas on the other hand, are super flexy. i have a pair of head mad trix (now the mojo, 80 waist) and a pair of ARVs (92 waist) and i love em both, but for different things. arvs for powder and every day stuff, mad trix for ice and park (cause they're skinnier, i'd rather have a bit more flex in them but i can't complain they were 200 bucks CDN 4 years ago).

i ride all those mtns and your not gunna need something really fat... iwuold say foils but if you have the extra flow then i would go for like a 160 ar5 or if you are a stronger skiier you could buy my mother ship flites(line)
