Whats the difference in mounting position

how much of a difference does it make when bindings are mounted in a regular position, ie back on the ski, compared to mounting in the center? i have 169 pe's mounted normally right now and haven't skied that much park, but will ski it a lot more this season, will it make a big difference?

center mount makes it easier and more balanced for spins and rails. not as good on normal terrain though. if you are just getting into park skiing i would say keep the mounting the way it is untill you get more serious about it.

I ski all mountain on 3cm foward from dead center. Of course its not as good as mid sole but if you're comfortable enough on skis then it shouldn't be too much of a problem. And if you have trouble then just ski switch.

but yea dead center is sweet, less swing weight, longer tails, and looks sexx'd

I switched to Center Mount recently and to be honest I can't tell the difference, but I also went up from a 156 to a 180 so maybe that is why too

Center mount, especially on shorter skis (170 or less) makes landing switch alot easyer. I didnt notice any difference in spins or balence when i center mounted (actually 1cm behind center on my 180 thalls) then when i had 171 1080s or 176 ar5s at recomended.

i have 169 pes, at reccomended, and im remounting them to core center(7.5) cuz its better, plus its a pe, and its good anywhere, and cuz im black

i ha fujatives for a season tail mounted...that wasnt working at all. then i switched em to center and everything just felt better. better rail balance, better turning (in my opinion) better everything

you dont need to mount them center, or regular, they could be just back from center, or somewhere in between hte two.....+2 might work?

if you have too much nose then it will be harder for you to ride switch, its harder to turn and you wont have that much tail, and it might effect your balance on round rails a little

ye get them centre-ish mounted, i had old head mad trix and they were mounted so far back, then i got 169 pes mounted at +2 and it just feels so much better.

when i first got center mount i took like a couple runs and i hated it but youll get used to it and love it man

i kinda think centre mountaing is overrated if ur a good skiier u dont really notice the difficulty skiing switch and stuff at normal mount but i can not denny it helps

i rode 169 PEs +4 this last winter and think they are perfect for everything. i would go back to my regular mounted Made'n aks during the season and wish i got them mounted at like +3 at least, it just felt like i had too much nose. i just ordered the silencers and will be mounting core center +7.5
