How much snow does Meadows need to open?

...Should I even bring my skis with me when I come home to Oregon for break?
 
Well they opened last year with a 14 inch base. We have something like 6'' right now. Sunday night gave us some good snow but starting thursday night its going to get collllddd. Friday, Saterday and sunday's highs will be in the teens and probably lower.
There calling for snow in portland over the weekend. A friend chris who works at meadows said it might be possible they could open this weekend it they get a decent storm soon.
 
Keep watching Dave's blog on skihood.com - opening will be announced there first - probably even before employees hear.

If you watch the webcam you can see that loaders are collecting snow from the parking lot and snow guns have been going at night. It won't be enough to open, but it should help to make it sooner.
 
Bring your skis Matty! They are supposed to get heavy snow friday and saturday (knock on wood). Should be open soon hopefully
