What's the deal with the stupid ass fashion in the ski world?

WISH we were gangsters?

bitch the fuck you talkin bout?

muthafucka im STRAIGHT MUTHAFUCKIN HOOD

you keep frontin on my shit yall bout to get tha hollow tip to yo skull ya herd?

Y'all jus B fruntin'. Y'all kno that I dun fucks around wid yo gypsy shit, that's why I gots ta wear mah baggy clothin so I can hide mah glock

I actually keep an AK-47 in my left XXXL pant leg. It keeps that leg really straight so my blunt grabs look super steezy.

But for serious, I love baggy shit. It's so much more fun to ski in, and it looks way sicker on film.

OKAY, so you want to know why people care what other people wear?? It is because they are fucking embarassed to be put in the same category as the fools that wear 5xl jibberish.

Think about it. Lets say you're talking to someone about skiing park and people have his preconception that park skiiers are all wiggers. You dont want to have to say"yeah i ski park, but i'm not one of those fags that thinks that theyre black.

EVERYONE that isn't on ns thinks you look like a fool. The only reason it is cool at all is because we have this great site to post picures of ourselves in our ski gear in the bathroom mirror and then give eachother boners about how steezy and gangsta we all look. We're just jacking each other's self confidences off here about how we look.

Stop defending tall tees they are THE stupidest thing you could ever possibly wear when skiing. Other than jester hats.

Not true, Im all about having your own style and not dressing like everyone else but i see a ton of snowboarders at my local hill wearing tall tee's and tall hoodies. So it's not just NS

I agree with either side...style is whatever you want it to be, if you want tight shit so be it..tall tees that look like dresses, so be it..no big deal..what irritates me is the actual "gangster" scene with hand motion of guns and shit..its been said before, but these 5'3 kids from the middle of nowhere in sweden (any mountainous area for that matter) try to act hood...I get the point of being on top of your game and cockr, as anyone would be, but your not tough or ganster..I dont mean to hate on these ppl like Henrik or Tom W cuz I like the both of them but really its kinds lame when they try to act like that

Yeah i guess but its still really isolated to the avid snowsport participant group. I dont know about other places but I never see any white dudes dressed in xxxxxl shit except when i'm skiing.

I'll never wear baggy pants again, but comeon man are you really that out of the loop or do you just crave the attention. or are you just seeing how many ppl will post on your stupid thread.
get fucked.

there is something to be said, skiing started out as a european sport way back when and do you think they dressed like that? no, not really
this began mostly in the US as skiing has developed more lately in small ski resorts without much more than the park, a trend that came off of snowboarding sort of
snowboarding got it off of skateboarders are often teenagers living in urban areas, the cool teens wear baggy clothes and often, the cool guys are the ones who get into trouble and give a bad name to themselves
This thread could be seen as trolling, but going from the traditional european style, to the new steeze is a big step in style, i can forgive the OP
Still, it bothers me that park rats will wear bandanas... its enough to look gangsta with baggy clothes and be all hood, but wearing the bandana is useless and makes you look criminal, there should be a face to the skier, if your going to wear a bandana, wear it around your neck not face, if its cold, get a warmer bandana, dont say that that little cotton cloth is warm

most people wear tall tees because everyone else wears tall tees. They might be a little more comfortable than a normal size shirt but they just get wet when hanging out of your jacket

It's a fad, just like low carb diets. just like razor scooters. just like those 80s hairstyles. just like those vibrant jump suits. just a fad. people will find something sooner or later that they think is more steezy and on we go with another fad.

That little cotton cloth is warm.Don't ask me why, but those motherfuckers are windproof. Although I wish someone would make freeze-resistant ones...

i did not know the amount of lil bitches that used this site until right now!

FUCK THE HATERS!

if someone wants to be G as fuck, let them be G as fuck. some people ride hesh stuff, some people ride fresh stuff, and others..just have shitty fuckin style. the fact is not everyone is born with knowing to buy good looking clothes and outerwear, so they become jealous when there lookin like the biggest gapers riding around the mountain. i dont see how people can take this so seriously and care that much about what others are riding. as long as your throwin down, or at least trying too, you shouldnt give a rat's ass what others are wearing. or at least not take it this serious...

on a side note, i keep it G, its hilarious, and again, fuckkk the haters.

^^^^ if no one gave a rats ass about what anyone wore than fashion trends wouldnt exist.... Here you are following the thread and calling out people without style, you seem to care....

some people are hard to take seriously.... this thread is pointless... i summarized where i think the trend came from, but who does or doesnt follow it shouldnt matter
that said, its all fine until the gear inhibits the skiing. if you dress all G, doesnt mean you should act gangster either and be a piece of douche on skis, last thing we need are fucking dipshits giving a bad name to all who wear tall t's

i always had the impression that baggy shit and long shirts were for short skiingy people.. like long tees make any one under 6 foot loot taller and if your a lanky mother fucker baggy shit hides it..

now being some one who is tall and not lanky. i have never seen the need for this.. except when i had a vintage xxxl helly hanson orange an blue puffy no hood coat.. that got jacked..

anybody else notice that alot of the people that are talking shit in this thread about what you wear are all new to NS? with like less than 150 posts

I wear large clothes because I feel really comfortable in them, and I think It looks cool, and it makes me a little different from the normal one time a year kind of skiers. and I like that.

i like my tall tees and baggy pants.

why do "white" kids and teens have to wear tight hollister clothing ?

and if we dont we are considered not nornal?

i hate tight clothing.

just because we wear tall tees doesnt mean we live gang life bubby.

so if we wear tight clothing we must be hockey players right?

thats what your sayin.

tall tees are what is confy and i like em

so go wear ur hollister gay tight shit and be the steriotype bitch.

okay slightly larger clothes are comfortable but MASSIVE shit is not in the slightest it's just a huge pain in the ass. constantly pulling you pants up and tripping over your shit just sucks. don't say you wear 6xl shit because it's comfortable, you do it because everyone else does

who the fuck cares? wear what you like. besides, its not like trends in skiing are different than any other trends. they dont have to mean anything. people do it because in their mind its cool.

i where baggy cloths not because it is a trend but because i think i gives you more stile and steez than if you are wearing like racing spandex but do you want to look like all of the other skiers wearing size medium or look like all the snow borders wearing sown in tight snow pats with a flannel and a leaf around there neck it is all about being different from all of the other types of skiing and snow boarding

Skiing is a fashion show these days. IMO wear what you like, not what is trendy. If you happen to like the trends, good for you, but expect some hate for it. And anyone going against the trends gets quite a bit of hate too, I ski in tight ass jeans 9 days out of 10, do I think I look awesome, yes I do, I wouldn't wear it if I didn't.

you're hating on someone for what they wear... thats pretty fucking lame of you. dont say it isn't functional because a lot of those people who wear baggy shit can still out ski you anywhere inside and outside the park. something must be functioning right for them to do that, huh? fucking jackass. go put on your crotch-hugging pants, your waist-length jacket and be happy that you're skiing, you know like all those "idiots" out there are doing.
