Why do you think everyone buys skullcandys they sound like shit and some are expensive as fuck. And they don't even look all that sick

this is why I buy skullcandy

because most people are listening to mp3 rips that they torrented or took from youtube, so its not like they need super duper quality headphones designed to decompress high quality music. as for the high price, 30 dollars for a pair isnt so terrible considering its a name brand and they look cool.

because the people who buy them are just as uneducated about headphones and hi fidelity audio as people who buy beats by dre

Three times I believe. There was once where he posted all those tits in that shit thread and then I think he got banned a week ago for sayin "I'm black as fuck" in like every NSG thread...

download a song in full WAV quality, listen to it with some skullcandys, then go listen to it with some real headphones...if you cant tell the difference you're either deaf or retarded

Ya cuz I'm sure everyone is going to rock their beats and Bose headphones that cost more than ur mother.

^ no but a decent $70 pair of good not over priced (i.e not beats) headphones makes a 200% difference between that and white apple headphones

I'm not saying skull candy is the best..but they r an okay headphone for what we do......skiing. Good quality headphones are only for people who have enough money to replace them after they fall on a rail. There are other brands..but I have broken another pair of headphones and yet my skull candy's are still going strong even after eatin shit a lot of times

you can get headphones or earbuds that are far better sounding and more durable than skullcandys for less than $25

candy used to be a dope brand years ago, when u could send em a broken pair of headphones, and if your story was a cool one on how you broke em, or you broke em skiing or snowboarding, they would replace em for free.

now i believe all we get is a 10% off coupon or something like that if a pair breaks and we want a new one. makes me happy for em in one sense cause theyre HUGE now and are doing great, but at the same time i miss the days when i wore my skullcandys around town, and no one had ever heard of the brand :(

Buy skullcandy because they are cheap and easy to find when you need a replacement. I've got a pair of shure SRH840'S for home recording and music production that will never leave my house.

Expensive headphones sound far better than cheaper ones and when it comes to music production you need a flat headphone with no equalization to make sure the song will sound good on the majority of speakers.

the comments on this thread are what delivered. OP, you're skiing. you are not producing the next great song. cheap, moderate sound quality for i use them for > expensive
