Whats The Deal with Skullcandy?

if its a single i am. if its an album or oldies def not, but say like i recently downloaded gucci gucci by kreasyshawn purely because i love how awesomely awful it it, and im just about over it after 5 days so my youtube shitty quality is justified. But i have sony headphones...
 
last pair of buds i sent in a got a 50% off any product coupon this was over the summer and if its their fault it broke you get a coupon thats worth the same amount as the headphones were originally = free replacement.
 
I have earbuds from JVC... they are excellent quality and they are 6 bucks, I own three pairs. If theres one product market where there is absolutely no correlation between price and quality, its the headphones/earbuds. $300 beats = $20 quality. $6 JVC earbuds = $20 quality
 
yea i got some good sony earbuds with solid sound quality and surprisingly good bass for about $20

and they might not come with gold plating or diamond leopard skin or whatever the fuck colors skullcandys come in, but instead of those shitty icons that they make, just buy some koss portapros for the same amount of money...massive difference in quality
 
I think everyone gets Skullcandy headphones because Skullcandy sponsers many of the pros and everyone wants to be like a pro.

The sound quality to price ratio on Skullcandies is absolutely terrible. Buying them makes about as much sense as wearing your ski goggles under the helmet. Oh wait...

For affordable headphones with good sound quality, check out Koss Porta Pro. They're a classic and for good reason.
 
I've always had the cord on them shit out after a month or so. After it happened 3 times, I was just over skullcandy. I just use cheap ipod earbuds since I Have 1000 of them.
