Whats the deal with MHSSC chairlifts?

there are no private chairlifts just the magic mile to get you up to palmer, and i imgane(sp) that if your going early enough you will be able to lap your parks lane. but when the snow is metled away. you will have to hike

and if this is a troll thread.......

fuck you

no this is not a troll thread :P

so your saying, in the early camps they use the public park, and you can use the chair? But in the later camps, the park moves up and there are no chairs there?? Is that right?

Alright, so I have another question! If, in early summer the public park is used by MHSSC, then what exactly am I paying for? couldn't I just go up there myself?

your paying for housing, coaching, camp food, camp activies, transporation to and from PDX probs some other things i am forgetting. yes you could but factor in all of those things and see what would be cheaper my guess is transportation will be quite pricey because mt.hood is about an hour and half from PDX.

Mother nature decides weather you have lift access to MHSSC park. I believe Windells is the only camp that has private lifts for their campers on hood. I was one of three ski campers hiking MHSSC terrain park in July two years ago, it was fun to be skiing in July, but not very progressive.

there is ALWAYS MHSSC's park open for you....it's the camps park....although you guy's can ride the public if you want as well.
