What's the deal with Jet skis

Jet Skis. I'm seeing these whips on instagram, ridden by guys like ian king and other zoot space esque skiers. How do they ride? graphic is raw and they look poppy/soft. Can someone give me the lo down on these. Interested in these primarily as an urban ski.

Dude they are small and nimble, very fast and easy to ride. You can do all sorts of tricks and they give off great tail spray. It's just basically a bench bolted to a mini jet engine what's not to love? You can even pull a water skier and get some skiing in!

funny thing is twin tips tend to give off tail spray or at least that's what my friend complains about when he's followcam filming me

Better die-cut than extruded and sublimated. I’ve never had nor seen a problem with die-cut bases.

Damn, I stand corrected... I saw that same shit once on a basic bitch Burton rental stock board. Which undoubtedly had some whack layup.

As for Die-cut, I've had bunches of skis that are die-cut and indestructible; Moment, K2, some older Liness. I guess it comes down to epoxy and material quality.

A Die Cute Base isn't One Solid Base. It's Multiple Pieces. So the multiple Pieces can become separated and create holes and cracks in the physical base of the ski.

As for Die-cut, I've had bunches of skis that are die-cut and indestructible; Moment, K2, some older Liness. I guess it comes down to epoxy and material quality.

I think it mostly has to do with the E being right below the boot. I bet if they changed the base design it wouldn't be a problem anymore.
