Go to a Rona or Home depot or something and look at plastic sheet things. I found some stuff that works really well and it wasn't too bad, $10 or so for a 2X4 sheet. Depending on how fat your box is you can just cut strips and you're set.

Most composite plastics work but over time they wear down. But its wayyyy cheaper then the actually teflon sheet stuff they use up at the moutains.

i'd look into astroglide, watch out for the warming stuff though, it will melt your snow
