and no water ramps don't count, i know skiings not about spin to win bt im just curious, biggest iv herd is switch 1260 at the jumpotomus, and the attempt switch 1440 by tanner hall, anyone gone bigger?
 
Someone from BCrew owned all of those records. Spun a 1800 on a top secret Backcountry booter with the landing grooomed.
 
on snow blades? sorry they dont count if they do? , im sure u cud do a 1800 off the floor, those things are all spin no skill
 
yeah, i was wondering the same thing. CR has done cork 12 or normal 12s i know. im pretty sure somebody has done a 1440.

word is some fin dude busted a 16whatever, i saw a sequence of it and you couldnt tell what was going on, either way its gay, so i guess you don't need to worry about things like that.
 
lars veen owned in spinning 12. he killed with switch bio 12 rev tail and shit. lot's of norwegian guys have done 12's. on has done 12 with tail (steezy) a 13 year old kid can do 12's. a little older guy can do switch 12's. and nasty old school dude morten flugheim did a 1800 back in 92.
 
I remember cr had a sequence shot in freeze of him doing a 1440 when he was 17, which was several years ago. I shit myself.
 
at the big air contest at mt. tremblant some random guy pulled a fakie 1440 i think 3 years ago. it was soooooo fucking sick. he stomped it. then lost it seconds later.
 
me too, a relativly slow spinning corked 12 or 14 would won any other trick, you just need to find a huge fucking jump.

There is a movie clip in here somewhere with a kid doing a double corked 1440 of a blackcomb BC kicker. It was posted in a previous thread, I just can't find it. IT was really just a 1440 double front flip, but he snapped both tails on landing so he didnt ride it away...

will keep looking for the link.
 
C.R. was younger than 17 when he was landing 1440's over a big jump at Squaw Valley.

The other "double cork 1400" video you speak of was actually a double misty flip= 1400 degrees of rotation done on the Blackcomb windlip a few summers back by one named Adam Schrab.
 
in There's Something About McConkey someone pulls off what i remember as a 1440, might've been mosely, but i'm skeptical

i don't like it when skiers spin real fast. unless its huge air and a nice grab. But slow and stezzy is the way to go
