Well, I'd have to say Jiminy Peak...or not. If you're living in the East, Killington is definitely the best, at least for people who like a bunch of varied terrain. But the best mountain i've ever been to was Winter Park. I was little, but i stil thought it was fun.

whistler's the best mountain(s) i've been to so far. haven't been to mammoth but big white sucks elephant balls. the terrain has to be 90% beginner and intermediate.

Yeah, i take back what i said about Winter Park, i forgot Steamboat. Now that was a good time. And honestly i've never been to Jay Peak or Cannon, but the second i get my license that's where i'm going every other weekend.

Whistler is sick. Sick park, sick backcountry, sick inbound steeps and pow. Big White sucked when I went. weather was consistently shitty, the mountain is super small, you can't get food past 10 pm, and if you're into going out at night after skiing, well, Big White isn't exactly the place to go.

i'd have to say for all around ...hands down mammoth...they have steeps killer backcountry, awesome park, good glades, and on pow days epic runs from the top with an alaskan like area

best is relative. some mountains are better than others for different reasons.

Whistler, Mammoth, Jackson hole, Tahoe resorts, Chamonix.. these are good mountains.

Eat. Sleep. Breathe. Ski.

id like to go to haines alaska. the only mountains ive ever been to are mammoth and june since i live in mammoth. i love them both. but i still want to go to haines. okay?

 
The only places I've ever been out west is Winter Park and Copper. And I skied Killington when I was a kid but that was before I reallly knew how to ski so it doesn't count. Winter park is the bomb I only went there for two days but It was empty pre-season(thanksgiving) pow was great I creamed my pants a couple times in some out of bounds tree runs.
