what does everyone think the best skiing music is?
i like some punk ska like leftover crack or voodoo glow skulls, classic ska like early marley or the specials, and/or stoner rock like queens of the stone age.
talib kweli is one of my favorite things to listen to while skiing, but i also listent to bjork while skiing. so i guess just whatever excites me most at the time.
Music is what ever you want it to be... personally i don't like emo punk shit because i like the fact that i have a dick and don't want to kill myself. I normally listen to rap and jazz and sometimes harder rock to pump me up. But whatever you listen to should give you flow, not make you want to slit your wrists.
the way to go is satganic metal. you can't go wrong listening to the screaming and all the violent satanic stuff. It pumps me up whenI ski. there was a 5 ft long rail and i was really scared of hitting it but then i started listening to satanci metal and i tryed it. i tryed it but i've still not been able to do the whole thing. it is wayyyyyyyyy to long, 5FT!!!!!!!!!
ya . emo, screamo and anything ending in mo sucks ass. "I'm wearing black, i look hardcore, but with all my money and my high voice, im sooo depressed."

personally, if i'm just cruisin around, working on the flow, i'm going with the hip-hop. when i want to learn new shit, more specifically, on jumps, i'm rocking out to marilyn manson or hatebreed. angry shit like that.
anything thats got a good rhythm to it you know somethin that gets the hips swayin side to side and the pelvis thrusting in all directions and the knees starin the jitter bug.
I hate rap and can't stand how ski movies play that shit during segments...making me want to mute the volumn. Nothing is better than some old school punk...Rancid, Social D, the Clash, Pixies....that is where it is at.
Whatever pumps you up the most...I don't think everyone in the world responds to music the same, choose the music you would like to listen to, and if you can't find any then I'd suggest DJ Shadow and RJD2.
Some good punk usually does the trick... Strung Out, Bad Religion, Social Distortion, Hot Water Music, A Wilhelm Scream, Face to Face... they all get me pretty pumped.
The best though... the ABSOLUTE BEST for ANY type of physical activity... Flogging Molly... hands down.
No emo or pop-punk/punk-rock... they just don't do the trick.
