Yup, simple question... I want to know which events were the best in your area!

Not just which was the coolest/most money, but which events had a great vibe, and were overall fun as hell to attend!

 
im gonng go with 36 hours at keystone. its $36 for 36 hours straight of skiing thru the night.

other than that, i cant really think of anything. no big annual rail jams are coming to mind right now
 
36 hours at keystone,extremes at crested butte which isnt even in my area. hopefully echo will do some sick shit this year
 
spring massive is sick as hell... 36 hours is fun also. spring massive is the best regional comp.
 
36 Hours of Keystone, the Gravity Games 2 years ago at Copper (they should bring that shit back), the US Open (if it exists this season), all the Aspen events rock, US Extremes at Crested Butte, Spring Massive at Breck.... not all in "my area" but I some how end up at just about all of them
 
what the fuck are you talking about snowboard event? it's a locals day event. you must be a one of the gapers.
 
the Colorado Freeride Series and Championships at Snowmass is fun. It's a big-mountain gig, but always cool to watch people go insanely big off of cliffs. A good time for sure.
 
i forgot about when steamboat used to have the "chute 1 bump-off" on st. pattys day. that was the best event ever, sadly it is no more.
 
where did you hear that? i'm not saying you're wrong, but i didn't see a single sign or anything by transworld or any company for that matter.

gaper day is sponsored by drunkin beligerent kids with funny outfits, snowlerblades, 130 cm snowboards, & 220 cm skis.

show me where gaper day is even sponsored and i'll tell you i'm sorry, but until then i'm still calling you a gaper.
 
i think it was in the magazine or on their website, but in all honesty i'm much too lazy to actually find it. so, i'll take the gaper label from you
 
it might be in the mag or something just talking about it, but how can you just sponsor a day of drunkin riding/skiing/snowllerblading? it's not an actual event the cops and everything get invovled to try and stop all of the shenanigans by arresting people. breckenridge resort actually hates gaper day & doesn't really want anything to do with it; however breckenridge the town loves this day and gets crunk.
 
but what does that have to do with breck and gaper day? you have still shown me nothing gaper. gaper day is not a comp.
 
i didnt say it was.. all i was saying with that is that companies do endorse events that are based on drunken shenanigans. but anyways, i couldnt find anything saying that transworld actually sponsors it, so, you win. would you like a certificate, or a trophy or something? or is calling me gaper reward enough?
