Whats the BEST camera?

Just a quick question I got for people. Not too specific, but when I buy a camera for this new season, what camera should I buy, a GoPro HD Hero 2, or any Sony with HD? Im not sure about the go pro, because I dont wanna look gay filming in the park. (Mostly Gonna be park fimlimg)

all my friends and i bought red epics for filming in the park this year. just ask your mom for some money if you can't afford it or try and do some more chores around the house to earn the cash cause it's an awesome camera.
