someone made a thread about it a while back, guys on longboard like things but with bindings and they can slide and shit...they go down hills...sorry i know thats not a very good description. its basically snowboarding on a road

Yeah, there are little wheels underneath in the middle of the board that pivot. They let you powerslide really easy, making it easier to control speed and go fast than on a long board, as you can just cruise on the 2 wheels. I think lol.

you can't go faster than 35 or 40 on a straight away freeboarding, compared to longboarding, that's not really that bad.
