Whats that one mountain in New Hampshire where u can ski till like June or July...u have to hike it and all but still..it starts with a T

you are thinking of Tenney but that was just one year when dan egan was running things. They dont have the machine anymore I dont think

Haha yeah, you actually probably were talking about tuckermans, but I was stuck in my daydreams about the good ol days of tenney

Yes rob it is tuckermans

It's sooo gnar. They have a website. it's a national or state park i think, and wicked. you prolly shouldn't go up there without a beacon, and the proper gear..... it's intense. The weather is crazy up there, so be careful.

yeah and www.tuckerman.org is the official site, if you will. Its a good trip. I recommend it, but you have to be in good shape and be ready to have a bitch of a climb. The skiing is the easy part. Its getting there that kills you. it sucked for me last year cause they closed the ski out trail so I had to hike the entire way down too

ive been, its fun, but the hike is a bitch. my feet were so beaten up from the race season before with bone spurs that the hike alone fucked me up, we only got in one run before the sun started to go down so we had to head back to the bottom, it was an experience. i wanna go back and ski the face.

yeah it happened a couple years back. They had one jump that was maybe 25 feet but was closed when I went and a few rails and whatnot. It was pretty fun considering it was in the early fall.

Tucks is awesome, I was there Easter weekend. There is still tons of snow and the hike isn't that bad if you bring tons of food and water and sleep a ton the night before. Highly recommended.

yeah, but that thing is always having malfunctions so its better to take the quad and then hike the extra quarter mile.

you still have to hike, and thats the worst part. my school takes trips there some weekends in early and late season just to get some extra turns

dude its the best time you can have in the North East, full day grab some luch eat near the top climb up so sick, must have good endurace though, pretty tough climb

Tuckerman's must be done at least once, after that you will want to come back as much as possible. Conditions can be a little sketch, sometimes you get an icy hardpack, but I still find it fun to hit it when it's hardest to ski. Hitting the cliffs and cornices on the lip is sick when there's good snow. If you go before April, be prepared to deal with avalanche conditions; after April, crevases and sink holes. www.tuckerman.org

Don't wait to do it though, it's sick.
