yes, skied both pisols and spatulas, any ski with sidecut can rip hard pack, skis with sidecut are designed for hard pack. Skis with reverse camber and sidecut designed for skiing powder. You can take the pistols any where park, ice, bumps, crud and pow. Shit pistols are a mid fat ski with all the other super fats out there. Spatulas you just need some snow to be skiable.

id say the pistols are a fat ski defenintly no a mid fat ski, and pistols defenintly do not perform any whatsoever in moguls for crud and powder there amazing but worthless in moguls and decent on groomers

i ride the pistols on everything, from moguls to groomers, to even GS courses. i think they are a good ski for pretty much most conditions, except in moguls. the radius on em is pretty shit and the edges have to be nice and sharp to make decent carves, but i love riding on em on groomers and especially in crud. and though they are not a 'midfat' they aren't the fattest ski out there on the market now with all these superfats. last year a mid fat was like a v pro with 83 under foot. now its like the karmas, with 87 underfoot. every year, the definition of a 'midfat' gets changed to a fatter and fatter ski. even 'park' skis like the new t hall pro models have an 80mm waist. 'fat' skis i think now have to be be at least 100mm under foot, like the big daddies or kahuna/made'n aks.

I ride my pistols everywhere including the park. light and responsive, and actually stiffer than my 1080s at high speed.

i only use my 1080s for rails. so early/late season you'll see me on those, otherwise, chances are im on my sweet sweet pistols.

The Pollard Pros are sick! The 05' Motherships are probably some of the best skis I've been on! Little big for bumps, but f*ck it!

I vote the scratch BC, or amything made by brake-boinay. Those skis are the ultimate pimp ride.

In tractor pulls, a 'full pull' is the best you can get. Ahh, how sport mirrors life.
